FOUR - FRIEND
MARK’S POV
An alarm on my phone woke me up at 7:30 AM on Tuesday morning. I turned it off and just laid in bed for a couple minutes. The day before was the first day of filming, and it was a crazy day. I didn’t expect to be making out with someone I had a crush on. I was so nervous on set, and it had been obvious, I just knew it. I just hoped Alyssa didn’t notice how much I enjoyed the last kissing scene. After the first time, I realized that I legitimately wanted to kiss her - it wasn’t just acting. But she had acted before, and that was all it was to her. It was an unfortunate fact, but it was a fact nonetheless. I knew we were just professionals working together, and all we could do was become friends from doing this video. So, I got myself out of bed, showered, brushed my teeth, and made myself look somewhat presentable - hair and makeup would just take care of the rest.
When I arrived on set, I gladly took coffee and a doughnut again and they made me look good enough for the cameras. Today we were going to hopefully finish up filming, if we were efficient. It was only a short film after all. Last time, we left off with the scene where Skylar and Jason had gone next-door where they heard the scream and found the dead body of their neighbor. Afterwards, Skylar tried to call 911 but the murderer stopped her, and now we were at the point in filming where we were running away and trying to find ways to defend ourselves in the apartment complex.
Filming the horror and action scenes was a lot less intimidating than all of the scenes we did on the first day. It was easier, but at the same time, it felt more laid back to me, so there were lots of bloopers. Lots and lots of bloopers. It was a lot of fun, though, and totally worth it.
We got completely done with filming at around 6 pm, so we all went out for dinner together at a sushi place. The food was great, and I got a chance to talk to Alyssa more. We ended up planning a couple days to make videos together. She invited me to her place to make videos with her and Aubrey later in the week. We weren’t exactly sure what we were going to do yet, but I was glad that she was so on board with making videos with me.
A couple days later, while I was editing a video, I got a text from her.
>Hey, Aubrey and I came up with some ideas for videos we could do, but we want to know if you approve, obviously. Wanna hear them??
<Definitely!
>Alright, well I was thinking we could do a truth or dare kind of thing, but maybe just with the dares. And then we could do a sketch of some kind, but I figured we could all come up with an idea for that together.
<Sounds good to me. I’m sure the dares will be interesting…
>Yes, yes they will. Aubrey and I looked some up online, but we came up with some of our own as well. We already have a list ready, but if you think of anything good, feel free to contribute ideas.
<You’re really giving me that kind of power? You’re going to regret this!
>Yeah…I probably am…
<Don’t worry, I won’t come up with anything too crazy. Maybe.
>I can just picture you sitting in your apartment laughing maniacally right now.
