The entire time, it seemed as though it was solely Ushijima versus Oikawa. They were at each other's throats. Oikawa was visibly fuming. He'd put his full force into his serves. Whenever Shiratorizawa scored, the setter would clench his teeth in irritation.
While the air around the court was intense and almost suffocating, Y/N found it all amusing. After all, Oikawa had made it his mission to prove the (h/c)-haired wing spiker wrong, yet had nothing to show for it.
The guts on this guy... Seriously.
The results of the match were as expected. Aoba Josai was good, but it didn't seem like they were on top of their game this time around. Shiratorizawa walked away as the day's last victor. Satisfied, Y/N decided to leave the gym.
Once he congratulated Shiratorizawa, he headed off to the cabin with F/N. Once they opened the door, they were immediately greeted with shouts.
"You son of a bitch! WHY?! That was my fucking property!"
Y/N's eye twitched in annoyance, seeing his teammates fuming over a board game. Though he wondered where they had pulled it from, he was more concerned with their loudness. He stepped forward and put his hands on the back of two of his teammates' heads.
Sensing a dark aura, they both turned pale. The rest of the little group also turned pale at seeing their captain. "You guys..."
Cold sweat ran down all their foreheads. They awaited Y/N's next words. But, they never came. Y/N simply let go and walked away. However, that instilled more fear in them. So much so, that they were afraid to move.
"Welp, sucks to be you guys," F/N said, about to follow after his friend.
"Yamaguchi!"
"F/N! Please!"
"Save us!"
The setter simply waved and disappeared into the storage room. Just then, the coach walked in along with the rest of the team. They were taken aback when the boys who had been playing crowded around them, visibly scared.
"Coach! Help us!"
It took a second before Coach Goro realized what had happened. "Well, well. Looks like you boys will have to sleep with one eye open tonight," he said, clearly amused.
"COACH!"
--
"Captain!"
Naoki came running over toward Y/N with a smile on his face. "The coach drew up this plan. He asked that you get them started in his place. He said he was going to take care of something."
"I see. Thank you," receiving the notebook from the first-year manager, who then jogged away.
"Umm, Y/N?" came the soft voice of a girl.
Y/N turned to her. "Oh. Natsume. What's wrong?"
"It's nothing big," she said. "I just wanted to show you the new training regimen. Coach Goro asked me to make it, but I'm not sure if I got the right stuff down. Could you look over it?"
"Sure."
He took the clipboard from her as well. His (e/c) eyes looked over the sheet, ensuring that the information written was right. He then nodded his head when he was done.
"It's good. You're usually good at this stuff, so..."
"Don't doubt yourself, Natsume! You're good at putting together regimens!" a cheery voice finished for the (h/c)-ette.
Natsume smiled at the compliment she received from both Y/N and F/N. "Thank you."
She then took the clipboard back and walked away from them and toward the faculty advisor.
