It was dark out. The sounds of the lively city outside were muffled by the sounds of light snores. The moonlight just barely shone inside the room. Two bodies were laying on a bed, entangled with each other. A barely-audible buzzing sounded next to the h/c-ette. He lifted his head out from under the f/c covers, blinking slowly to adjust his vision.

He reached over and grabbed his phone. "Tch..."

He threw his phone back down on the nightstand and laid his head back against his fluffy pillow. Just as he was about to drift off to sleep once more, he heard his phone 'ding'. He growled internally and reached out for it.

M/n threw his phone on the floor in anger. He laid there for a minute.

Why did that fucker have to show up? Why now?

He moved Kuroo's arms from around his waist and sat up. He turned his head to look at Kuroo, who was still peacefully sleeping. One of his hands went up to the side of his neck, touching the spot where Kuroo had made a hickey. He sat there, contemplating what to do before getting up off the bed as carefully as possible.

M/n's hand reached for his f/c hoodie from his closet, slipping it on. He quietly closed the door behind him and made his way over to the front door. He put on his shoes and grabbed his keys from the table.

M/n looked around, seeing street vendors serve up food quickly to people who stopped by their stands, allured by all the mouth-watering smells. He heard the laughter of people as they conversed amongst themselves. As he walked, those sounds and aromas grew duller and duller. It was quiet now as he walked under the trees that arched over the pathway.

In the distance, he could make out a figure he grew to despise. When he got closer, he could a smirk etched on the person's face, making his blood boil. He stopped just a few feet away from the person, not bothering to hide how annoyed and infuriated he was.
