"Hey, hey, what's going on over here?"
The three looked up to see Bokuto walking toward them, Akaashi trailing close behind him. F/N placed his hands on his hips as he turned to the Fukurodani captain, wanting to test something.
"Bokuto, do you notice anything about Y/N and Kuroo?"
"What are you asking this idiot?" Kuroo said.
The owl boy arched an eyebrow. "What do you mean?"
"I mean, do you notice anything different? Like, the way they act?"
Akaashi sighed heavily as Bokuto got to thinking. "The way they act... Huh..."
"Yamaguchi, Bokuto isn't the best person to ask," the Fukurodani setter said. "Why ask him of all people anyway?"
F/N stepped closer to Akaashi and whispered into his ear. With his explanation, the setter now understood. "I did think something was different, but since we're not as close, I wasn't entirely sure," he said.
"Aha!"
Seeming to have reached an answer, both setters turned to him. "Kuroo likes Y/N."
The four were left stunned, not believing that Bokuto had managed to hit the nail on the head. "No way..."
"Was I right?" Bokuto asked, looking at each of them.
F/N soon snapped out of his momentary stun and cackled loudly. "See?! You are obvious, Kuroo! Even a dense person like Bokuto saw right through you!"
Kuroo rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah. I'm so obvious."
"You trail after him like a lost puppy," Kenma said, erupting laughter from both F/N and Bokuto.
"It's true!!"
The teasing continued for a bit more before Akaashi eventually excused himself. "We have to go now. We still practice, after all. Come on, Bokuto."
Still laughing, Bokuto walked away alongside Akaashi, leaving the three alone. But then it was F/N's turn to leave.
"I better get back," he said, waving goodbye to them. "See you later. Though, I'll be seeing Kuroo later for sure~"
Kuroo sighed. "I hate that guy."
"We should go too," Kenma said. "Yaku will definitely yell at us..."
--
"Yo-ho! I'm back!" F/N shouted as he knocked on the gym door.
However, upon looking inside, he saw that Y/N wasn't around. "Huh... I thought he'd already be here."
"Kageyama-san said he wanted to put his stuff away first," Sugawara said as he passed by him.
Just as he said that Y/N stepped through the door. It seemed he'd gone to leave his jacket back at the cabin. Hinata's eyes sparkled. He couldn't hide his excitement.
Daichi walked over to them, having been absent when they'd first arrived. "I haven't formally introduced myself yet. I'm--"
"Sawamura Daichi," Y/N finished his sentence for him. "Karasuno's captain."
At that, Daichi's eyes widened, clearly surprised that Y/N knew his name. "I know who you are. You caught my eye. You've got a good team on your hands, Sawamura, but it's obvious that you guys have a long way to go, though."
The wing spiker sweatdropped at that while the rest simply looked away, a little pissed that he was completely right. "But, nothing a little practice can't fix. I'm sure you'll be in top form in no time."
