Y/N now had Shiroishi and the rest of Wakutani South's attention. Nakashima stepped up. "What's going on here?"
"Hello, Captain~" the (h/c)-ette said. "Listen, you should really keep your players in check."
"Why does that matter to you?"
M/n's smirk faltered. Instead, his expression morphed into one seeping with bad intent. He tilted his head a little to the side, the new look on his face scaring everyone who witnessed it. "'Why'? You should really think before you say something or else you'll regret it. You ask 'why'? Because, while I don't give a fuck what anyone says about me, it's a whole different story when you involve the rest of my team. If you don't watch your mouth, you'll get your tongue cut off."
Y/N took one step forward, making them back up out of fear. "We'll play against you with all we've got. Even if it's just a practice match, we'll go all out. Well, that is, if you can handle it."
"Of course, we can! Hit us with everything you've got! It's an all-or-nothing match! Wakutani South versus Matsubara!"
His smirk returned. "In that case..." he started. "Let's place our bets on the table. That'll keep you motivated, right?"
Nakashima bit back a remark to his words and let him continue. "If we win, you'll kneel in front of my entire team...And take back every comment you made."
"And if we win?"
"Name your price," Y/N responded, his voice intimidating them.
"If we win...If we win, you'll admit that you aren't as much of a hotshot as everyone thinks you are!"
Y/N was taken aback. He had expected something better. It was almost funny. "Seriously?" he said. "You're on in this bet, all or nothing, and that's what you want in return?"
The (h/c)-ette scoffed, his expression soon turning cold. "How boring."
"Fine. Then..." Nakashima thought before meeting Y/N's gaze. "In your next match...you don't get to play at all."
Now those words interest the wing spiker. Nakashima smirked slightly. "You're all this talk about how good your team is but I bet they're nothing without you."
"Alright," the (h/c)-ette responded. "Then the terms are set. There's no backing out after this."
Nakashima looked at Y/N's hand before taking a hold of it with his own and shaking on it. "The deal is set in stone"
The wing spiker moved his hand away and began making his way to their side of the court. As he passed by Wakutani South's captain, he smirked to himself. "If you're not careful, you'll be signing away your soul."
Nakashima's eyes widened a little at his words and turned his head to see him walking away with his hands in his pockets. "Tsk..."
"What happened?" Yaku asked from his seat in the stands, confused as to what both captains were doing.
Kuroo grinned. "Even though he says he doesn't like the nickname... he sure does play around with it. It's almost as if he's taking it as a joke."
Nakashima turned to Shiroishi and led him back over to where they were before. "Sorry, Captain. I didn't mean to involve yo--"
"Forget it," Nakashima cut him off. "Let's just give it our all."
Shiroishi watched as Nakashima walked away from him. The third-year captain knew he had messed up the second he suggested an all-or-nothing match. But, that's the way it goes with anyone who tries to mock his team's hard work.
