"/n– /n... M/n... M/n!"
The h/c-ette slowly opened his eyes, blinking to adjust his vision. He pushed away the hand that had been shaking him, sitting up tiredly. "We're almost there, M/n. The school's just up ahead."
"'Kay..." M/n replied, slipping his hood off.
He gazed out the window with dazed look. "Looks like those two weeks of practice finally caught up with you, huh?"
"As if... If anything, I feel uncomfortable."
"Well, you fell asleep on the bus. It's not exactly the most comfortable place to take a nap."
M/n stretched just as the bus came to a stop on campus. The coach, faculty advisor, and the two managers stepped out first. The h/c-ette stood up and grabbed his duffle bag from the overhead storage compartment. He yawned as he followed behind F/n, stepping off the bus. The team all gathered just a little ways away from the bus, M/n at the front.
"You all made significant progress during the training camp," Coach Goro said, occasionally looking down at the clipboard in his hand. "Seems this experience has broadened your horizons a bit more, if not, a lot more. You have more experience and have more of an idea of what to expect on the court. You also know that you can't get always assume the level of a team by simply glancing their way. Pay attention to everything. Down to the smallest detail. I'm proud of all of you. This was the longest training camp we've had all year. Good work."
"Thank you, Coach!" the team responded all together.
"Now, don't forget. School's starting up again. You've got less than two weeks before vacation's over. Make sure you all come back ready to practice your rear ends off. And don't forget to bring your stuff. After all, dorm life's starting up again and I know how many of you are forgetful."
Coach Goro made eye contact with the guys he was referring to when he said 'forgetful'. They looked away from him. "Mhm. Well, with that being said, take care of yourselves. Your health is important. Don't neglect it. Enjoy the last of your vacation, ladies!"
"Ladies...?"
"Is Coach ever gonna get tired of calling us that?"
"Nope! Not at all!" Coach Goro laughed. "Because, at the end of day, you bunch all whine about how sore you are!"
"Isn't it natural, Coach?"
"Seems the captain and Coach go hand-in-hand..."
"Yup... The captain from hell... And the coach from hell..."
M/n shot them a glare before turning back to their coach. He bowed. The rest did the same. "Thank you for everything."
"Thank you!"
Coach Goro grinned, placing his hands on his hips. "That's why I'm here!"
M/n lifted his head and looked at the faculty advisor. "Thank you for staying with us the entire time, Sensei. We appreciate it."
The faculty advisor waved his hand back and forth. "No, no. Don't worry about it, Kageyama-kun. It was truly amazing to see you all working so hard. Good job, everyone."
"Thank you, Sensei!"
"Well, boys, I'm off!"
Coach Goro waved and began walking off. "Don't cause any trouble, ya hear?! Or I'll hunt ya down!"
"Yes, sir!"
Coach Goro soon disappeared in the distance. The faculty advisor turned to the group. "Please don't forget to bring anything you need for the week. After all, you're only allowed to go back home on weekends and such once the school year starts up again."
