Chapter 4: An Intruder For Love

After a long day with Professor Banner talking about his weird Duel Alchemy, Lunch by myself with everyone shouting "Chazz it Up" every two seconds, a hard day in Gym class, and Dr. Crowler lecturing us about the different types of Spell and Trap cards. I remember that Dr.Crowler called on Syrus to explain what a Field Spell does and he was too nervous to answer. The guy sitting next to me shouted something rude at him and everyone but me, Alexis and the other Slifer kids, laughed. I elbowed his arm and he rubbed it saying, "What was that for?" I gave him a glare, "Leave him alone." Then to add more salt to the wound, Crowler said for someone else to give him the answer besides anyone wearing red. I was about to protest but Jaden stood up for his group saying that he beat Crowler and he's wearing red. That made Crowler angry and me even more happy that Jaden is here.

I entered my room and placed my bookbag next to my bed and went in the bathroom to take a nice shower.
In the middle of me showering I heared a banging in my room. I put on some towels and noticed it was someone knocking on the door. I opened it and saw Alexis standing there with a towel.

"Hey (Y/N). Me, Jasmine and Mindy were about to go in the hot tub. Wanna join us?" Alexis asked me. "Sure. I could use some relaxation after today." I said, I grabbed some clean clothes and off we went.

Me, Alexis, Jasmine and Mindy all sat in a glorious golden pool that was huge. Jasmine and Mindy were busy gossiping, Alexis was staying silent staring outside. I was enjoying the warmth of the water, closing my eyes. Gosh I deserve this...

I felt water splash my face, waking me up. "(Y/N) you awake?" Mindy asked me, "Well I am now. Thanks..." I rudely replied. They continued to gossip but I interrupted them with a question I had on my mind, "Sorry to interrupt but can you tell me why everyone hates the Slifer Red students?" Jasmine proudly answered, "Slifer Red students are so lame. They have no talent here. Just like that one kid today in Crowler's class what's his name... Syrus." Then Mindy chimed in, "Yeah and don't forget about that Jaden kid." I smiled and blushed a little. Jasmine then continues, "That Jaden kid has got some nerves to talk to Crowler like that don't you agree Alexis?" I turned to see Alexis holding her towel up at her cheek and say, "Actually I thought that was kinda cool." I didn't expect her to say that and neither did Jasmine or Mindy.

Before any of us could respond, we heared commotion come from outside.
All four of us quickly dressed and ran outside. What I saw was a bunch of girls surrounding something, or in this case someone...

Me and Alexis pushed through the crowd to see a familiar face, "Syrus?" I said and he looked up to see me and Alexis, "Oh hey ladies. Glad to see your crush?" Crush? What is he talking about? Me and Alexis take him inside and interrogate him. "Syrus, what are you doing here? You know your trespassing right? You could get expelled." I warned him, "But Alexis sent me a love letter today. She wanted me to come here." Syrus pleaded then he gives me the letter. I open it and noticed that the letter was for... Jaden. I had no words so I pass the letter to Alexis for her to read. Alexis loves Jaden too? Will we end up dueling for him?

"Syrus, my name isn't spelled right." Alexis pointed out. I wipped the sweat off my face. Thank goodness she doesn't love Jaden. Syrus signed and put his head down, "S-so... Your not in love with me?", "I'm afraid so Syrus. Sorry..." Alexis said letting Syrus off easy. "Aww... B-But I thought I could actually be someone important if you loved me." Syrus said saddened and slowly tears started to form. I had enough!

I ran over to Syrus and sat with him, hugging him. I shared his pain, "You are important Syrus. Don't you ever say that your not." I said to him. He continued to cry and I tried to calm him down, "Ssh... It's alright. If it helps we won't report you for tresspassing. Ok?" His crying stopped and he nodded. I gave him a smile and he returned one back.

"Now wait a second. We could use him as bait." Alexis said, "Bait? For what?" I asked her. "For Jaden ofcourse. I want to duel him myself. Hang tight, I got a call to make." Alexis walked away talking on the phone, probably to bring Jaden over here. As much as I was thrilled to see Jaden again, I wanted to talk to Syrus a little more.

I took Syrus outside near the river. We both stood there looking at the stars reflecting the stars out. "(Y/N), Why do you care so much about me? I mean... Your in Obelisk Blue, your suppose to look down at the Slifer Red's." I clasped my hands together and keeping my eyes on the water, "Just because i'm in the highest dorm does not give me the right to make you or others feel weak and worthless. I think it's wrong that people treat you that way because your in Slifer Red. I think you have potential Syrus I really do. You wanna know what I think?" I asked him, "What?" He said, "I think one day your going to be in Obelisk Blue with us." I smiled at him and he gave me a surprised look, "You really think so?" He asked me and I nodded. He then smiled and jumped up and down in excitement cheering he'll be an Obelisk Blue student and I chuckled. "Thanks (Y/N). Your the best." He happily said, "No problem and if someone is picking on you, you tell me and i'll handle it." I say and he nods.

We then both see someone coming towards our way on a boat. It was Jaden.
