☆COMPLETED☆
When you were young, you had everyday filled with happiness and laughter with your family. You thought nothing could ever go wrong. Until it did...
Due to your mom's sudden disapearance, your family changed forever. Your brother, Jesse A...
I screamed to the top of my lungs and ran out my room. I banged on Zane's door so many times I lost count. "Zane! There's a ghost in my room!" I shouted. He opened his door, he looked annoyed. I couldn't blame him, I would be mad if someone woke me up at eleven o'clock too. "Yes (Y/N)?" He spoke to me annoyed. "T-theres a ghost in my room. Please, can I sleep in your room?" Before he could respond, I hugged him. I don't know why... I guess it might be the fact that without my brother or my dad, I have no one else to rely on. Zane was the only one.
"Fine. But you sleep on the floor, got it?" He told me. I nodded and he patted me on the head and smiled. "Come on. I promise there are no ghosts in here." He said and walked me in. Shutting the door behind us.
~Alexis's POV~
Jaden just saved me from the Abandoned Dorm and gave me a picture of my brother. That kid is really something. Any girl would be lucky to have Jaden as his boyfriend. Too bad he left before I could thank him. I should tell Zane what happened here.
So I ran back towards the Obelisk Blue dorm and headed straight for Zane's room.
When I got there I knocked on his door and he opened it. "Zane. I have some news on Attic- Why is (Y/N) in your room?" I said seeing (Y/N) on the floor sleeping. "She said she saw a ghost in her room. She pleaded to stay in my room for the night." Zane told me looking at her. "Zane, are you... smiling?" I asked him. He was smiling at her. It was rare to see Zane smile.
He cleared his throat and he made his bland face again, "Lets go see her room. I want to make sure she feels safe in her own room." Zane went out of his room and into (Y/N)'s. I followed.
We went inside her room. Her room looked nice, almost identical to mine. Me and Zane saw no sign of a ghost. But we did see her cards on the floor, it looked liked she dropped them out of fear.
"Was she scared of her cards?" Zane asked me, "I don't know..." I said unsure but then an idea hit me, "What if she has the ability to see Monster Spirits?" I told Zane and he nodded in agreement. "That could explain what she saw." Zane said looking worried for her. I started to gather up her cards. I gathered them all and held onto them.
When I looked at Zane, he looked sad. "You really care about (Y/N) do you?" I asked him and he ran his hand through his hair, "Don't take it the wrong way Alexis. She's been through a lot. She told me her mom went missing and her family are more distant towards her. She's alone. I'm the only one she depends on." He told me with hurt in his voice. I put my hand on his shoulder, comforting him. "Then let's make her feel welcomed. Like we are her new family. What do you say?" Zane nodded and on that note we went back to his room.
We planned on talking to her when she wakes up. Me and Zane are going to make her feel welcomed, appreciated and most important... Loved.
~(Y/N)'s POV~
I woke up with a yawn and my hair messed up. I got up and gave a good stretched. Sleeping on the floor wasn't half bad.
I looked around seeing Zane wasn't in his room so I did some snooping around. I saw Zane's deck on his desk. Something called The Cyber Legacy. Then next to his deck was a family portrait, I saw Syrus in the picture which was weird... I'm sure Syrus is a good friend of Zane's.
I heared the door open and I saw Zane and Alexis with Egg-wiches and drinks. "Hey (Y/N). I hope you slept well. We brought food for all of us." Alexis said sounding so friendly. I was starving...
Me, Alexis and Zane were having an amazing time eating, drinking and talking about dueling. It was so nice. I haven't talked or laughed like this in so long.
"Thank you guys. I haven't laughed or talked like this in so long." I said. "No problem (Y/N). But... There is something we want to talk to you about." Alexis told me and I felt the mood change immediately. I sat and waited for what they had to say.
"First. Zane and I want you to know that you can talk to us. If you have any problems, any questions you need answers for... You can tell us. We're your friends." Alexis said sincerely. I stared at both of them, "Thank you." I said trying not to burst out into tears. Alexis and Zane smiled and nodded.
Zane then proceeded to pull out my Darklord cards from his shirt pocket and layed the monster cards down on the table. "Now (Y/N). About the ghost you saw in your room. We don't think it was a ghost at all." Zane told me. "Then what was it?" I asked him then Alexis answered, "It was a Monster Spirit.", "A Monster what?" I said confused.
"A Monster Spirit. You see, duel monsters are actual beings. They have souls like you and I. Only some people have a rare gift that they can see them. And you have it." This was a lot to take in. I had powers? "So your telling me I saw one of my monster cards?" Alexis nodded.
Zane then drew my attention to the cards he layed down. "You saw one of these monsters in your room. Can you try and remember which one?" Zane asked me. "I'll try." I tried to remember the spirit I saw. Dark violet hair, pointy ears, dark wings, female body! Then it hit me. "It was her." I said pointing at the card Darlord Ixchel.
