Season 4, Chapter 1: Senior Year

~Inside The Slifer Dorm~

~(Y/N)'s POV~

The morning was silent. The only noise I could hear were the birds chirping and nothing else.

After the whole Yubel incident, we all returned to Duel Academy to finish our Senior Year. Well...not all of us...

Syrus had gone up to Obelisk Blue, I'm happy for him.

Alexis was preparing her Senior Year to go to Duel College so she has been hanging around Crowler a lot to get more information about it.

Atticus was constantly walking around Duel Academy, watching all the students to make sure everyone is safe.

Aster left to go back to Pro-Dueling and Chazz left with him to become a Pro-Duelist himself.

Jim and Axel went back to their own Academys to graduate there.

I sadly haven't seen Adrien or Zane return to Duel Academy. Did Zane's heart really give out?

Jesse decided to stay with me at Duel Academy since we have been separated for so long. We both moved into the same room in the Slifer Dorm. We even have a pet too, it was Professor Banner's cat, Pharoh.

I laid down on my bed and stared up at the ceiling while Jesse sat on the edge of my bed and scratched Pharoh's belly. Pharoh purred with pleasure as my brother scratched his soft belly.

Jesse looked at me and gave me a small smile. He smiled at me for being with me again, but it was small because he knew what I was thinking. About Jaden...

"I heared Hassleberry and Blair are making a graduation video for all of us." Jesse spoke, a hint of joy in his voice.

I didn't respond. My eyes still on the ceiling.

"I was planin on helping em with the video today. Wanna come with me?" Jesse asked me. I didn't respond again which made Jesse shuffle his way closer to me. I turned my back to him, lying on my side. Jesse placed his hand on my shoulder like the concerned brother he was. "I know you miss him. We all do, but we all gotta move on."

He was right. I do miss him.

Pharoh crawled next to me and licked my cheek, putting a slight smile on my face.

"Thank you Pharoh..." I say weakly as I scratch behind Pharoh's ear.

I start to get up from my bed and sat up next to my brother. I place my head on his shoulder. "What would I do without you here, Jess?" I ask.

Jesse wrapped an arm around me, "You'd be coup'ed up here the whole year."

I huff and place my forehead on his shoulder, confiding in my brother, "I miss him so much."

"C'mon..." Jesse said trying to take my mind off the topic, "Let's go meet up with Blair and Hassleberry."

I nod and we both get up, leaving the Slifer Dorm.

~In The Halls Of Duel Academy~

Me and Jesse were walking through the halls of Duel Academy, looking in various rooms to see where Blair and Hassleberry were at.

"Geez, how many rooms does this school have?" Jesse asked annoyed opening the door to the janitor's closet.

"Fourty-three to be exact." I answered.

Jesse huffed in annoyance and looked at me, "And how many rooms did we check?"

"Only six." I responded. I sighed knowing this was gonna take forever.

Jesse tried to change the mood and placed one finger on each side of my mouth, forcing me to make a smile.

"Smile a little." He told me as he gave me one of his contagious smiles, "Let's have a race!"

"A race?" I questioned.

"Yup. First person to find Blair and Hassleberry gets to have the other person's lunch tomorrow!" Jesse joyfully announced and darted for the next couple of rooms, getting a head start.

I just chuckle and run after him.

"Hey wait up!" I shout at him.

Me and Jesse continued to run and run, now chasing each other. The race now turned into tag.

We have been behaving like four year olds. But give us a break, we haven't spent a lot of time when we were growing up.

Right when I was about to tag Jesse, a random hand grabbed my arm and tugged me towards them.

"Hey!" I yell.

My hand was held by the random person while their other hand was around my waist. They turned me around to see who they were.

"Hey there beautiful. You know you can't run away from my love." Atticus smiled.

I returned a smile since I haven't seen Atticus in so long. "If it isn't Duel Academy's Playboy himself." I chuckle.

Atticus let me go and laughed, "Haha. Is that what people call me now?"

Jesse saw me and Atticus and immediately went over to us. "What's up Atticus?"

"Hey Jess." Atticus said. He then looked at both me and my brother, "What are you both up too?"

"Playing tag." Jesse answered.

I elbowed my brother in the shoulder and gave Atticus the real answer, "We were trying to find Blair and Hassleberry. We were gonna help them with the graduation video."

Atticus put his hands on his hips, "I see. Well their both in the computer lab. I can take you there now."

"Sounds great. Lead the way Atticus." I said and we started to walk.

Just then Atticus's phone rings and we all stop for him to answer it.

"Hello?...Yeah she's here with me...ok...I see...alright...bye." Atticus ended the call.

"Who was it?" I questioned.

Atticus gave me a worried look, "That was Syrus. He said he needs to see you immediately at the Hospital Wing. It's ergent."

Me and my brother looked at each other and he nodded at me. "Go on. I'll help Blair and Hassleberry myself. Call me if there's any trouble."

I hugged him and I ran off to meet Syrus.
