~(Y/N)'s POV~

The Hospital Wing was a new addition to Duel Academy since we had so many new freshman this year. The normal Nurse's office turned into a teacher's lounge instead.

I stopped running when I saw a flight of stairs leading to the Hospital Wing high above the edge of a mountain.

"Wow...so this is the Hospital Wing." I say to myself amused. This was my first time seeing the Hospital Wing with my own eyes. It seems very peaceful.

I make the effort and start to walk up the flight of stairs made out of stone.

~Inside The Hospital Wing~

I entered the waiting room to see Syrus sitting on a chair reading a Pro-Dueling magazine. It had Aster's face on the cover which put a smile on my face.

I walked up to Syrus and stood over him. My shadow covered him, which made Syrus look up at me.

"Your here!" Syrus cheered. He stood up and gave me a big hug.

I chuckled at Syrus's approach, "Haha. It's nice to see you too." I start to look around, remembering the reason why I was here. I started to worry a little by how ergent Syrus wanted me, "Why did you need me? Is everything alright?"

Syrus took my hand, keeping a smile on his face. He dragged to the front of a room numbered 125.

"He would not stop talking about you..." Syrus chuckled and folded his arms. He motioned his head to tell me to go in.

I looked at Syrus puzzled. "He?" I asked.

Syrus walked away, leaving me to find out what is behind this door on my own.

I grabbed the knob and twisted it. The door opened with ease and in front of me I saw a person in a wheelchair sitting by a huge glass window.

"Hello?" I say.

I closed the door behind me and stood there waiting for movement or a response.

"Its been awhile..." The person said. They turned their wheelchair around and I was presented with a smile and a joyful gaze.

"Zane?" I questioned, unsure if it was really him. Zane gave me a nod proving it was him.

I felt tears fill up my eyes as I gazed at the person I thought I lost. Zane sacrificed his life saving me, from me as The Darklord Duelist and also from Yubel.

I quickly ran towards him and gave Zane the biggest hug I could.

"Woah..." Zane said. He then chuckled, "Easy with the pressure. I'm still going through my recovery." I released Zane from my hug and stood back a little.

"Sorry. I'm just so happy to see you again." I smiled. I then bit my lip questioning myself if I should ask how he got back. "How come-"

"-Your not dead?" Zane said taking the words right out of my mouth. I nodded. "After Jaden defeated Yubel. Yubel and with the rest of her powers forced all of us captured out of that crazy dimention."

"I see." I responded.

Zane moved his wheelchair to his bed and made his way onto it. Zane groaned a little from the surgery they did on his heart, I assume.

Zane then patted the bed, giving me permission to sit with him. I walked over and sat on the bed while he lied down to relax.

We both stayed silent. We heared the birds chirp outside and the occasional footsteps from people outside the room.

Zane finally broke the silence between us, "Look how matured you've become." Zane said patting my head like he used too. "I'm proud of you sis."

I was taken aback from that. "S-Sis? That's a first..." I smirked.

Zane laughed which made me smile even more. I always though of Zane as an older brother. I'm glad he thinks of me as a sister, like family.

"How is everyone doing?" Zane asks me. "I tried to ask today Syrus but he was busy."

I huffed and laid down with Zane, my back on both his legs and looked up at the ceiling, "Where do I begin..."

~2 Hours Later~

~Nighttime, The Hospital Wing~

"...Jesse and I were planning on working for Kaiba Corp like our dad. Or maybe work for Pegasus, you know...designing cards and such." I talked to Zane all about our friends and what me and Jesse wanted to do when we graduated.

Zane listened with open ears, hearing and imagining every detail I said.

"That's great!" He complimented. "Although, your forgetting someone..." Zane folded his arms and gave me a questionable look.

"Really? Who? I told you about Alexis, Chazz, Blair-" As I was listing off some of the people I talked about, Zane said the one name that injected instant sadness to my heart.

"Jaden..." Zane said casually not knowing the power that name had on me.

I got up from Zane's hospital bed and shuffle around the room in distraught. I tried so hard not to burst out crying.

I cuffed my mouth with my hand to not let a weep of sorrow out. My eyes started to water and at that point I knew I couldn't hold my tears in...

I cried...

Zane gave me a confused look and motioned himself to sit on the floor and lean up on the side of his bed.

"What's wrong? What happened to Jaden?" Zane pressured me to answer his question.

I turned my head towards him, seeing my tearful eyes pleading for him to stop saying that name.

"Oh..." Zane said coming to realization that Jaden was gone.

I needed quiet, peace, serenity. Being in a hospital room was depressing enough.

I ran out the room hearing Zane pleading for me to come back.

But I didn't...

I need relief...at any cost...
