Chapter 5: The Student

~Morning, In The Slifer Dorm~

~(Y/N)'s POV~

I woke up to the sound of the morning birds chirping outside of my window sill. I felt the blankets warmth all over my skin.

I remembered what me and Jaden did last night which would explain why I was fully naked now.

I couldn't help but rub my eyes and get up, wrapping the blanket around me. I picked up my bra and panties off the ground when Jaden threw them.

My hair was a mess and my body felt dirty.

I need a shower...

I went to the bathroom door to hear the shower running, someone was in there...

"Jaden." I said knocking on the door, "Please hurry up. Class starts in one hour." I complained.

I heared the shower curtains open but the water still running. Jaden opened the door wide enough for me to see his wet body gleam and shine.

As I was about to dart right past him and get in the shower, Jaden put his arm in front of me to block my way.

"Someone's in a rush." Jaden smiled, he was teasing me.

I folded my arms in annoyance, "C'mon Jaden I need to get ready."

I crouched under his arm and made my way towards the shower. I was starting to undress until Jaden pressed his chest against my back and wrapped his arms around my stomach.

"We can share the shower..." Jaden whispered in my ear and I blushed.

~The Classroom~

Class was very different this year than the last three years...

Usually in Dr.Crowler's class there would be an equal amount of Obelisk, Ra and Slifer kids in the room but since everyone moved up to either Obelisk or Ra, it was only me and Jaden who were the only Slifer Reds in his class.

Ofcourse when Crowler was talking about difficult strategies in Dueling, Jaden yawned and gently placed his head on my shoulder and fell asleep.

For some reason I saw Alexis staring at me with jealousy when Jaden was on me. I wonder what that's all about?

"Now could anyone tell me what the Oxphosphorous Strategy is?" Crowler looked around for a hand to be raised.

I looked behind to see that no one had their hand raised so I raised mine.

"Yes (Y/N)?" Crowler called on me.

"The Oxphosphorous Stategy is when you set bluff spell cards in your Spell and Trap Zones. It is meant to inspire fear in your opponent to not attack." I answered.

Crowler smiled at me but looked disgusted at everyone else. He walked around the room, looking at everyone.

"Very good (Y/N), as always." Crowler announced. Crowler then walked past Alexis, "I suspect some of my students want to be prepared to go to Duel College..." He was ofcourse referring to Alexis, that made Alexis frustrated and she looked at me with even more hate.

Crowler continued to walk around and passed by Syrus, "Achieving the highest rank does not mean you are excused from studying..." Syrus pouted and sighed in desperation.

Crowler's final stop was at me but I forgot who was lying right on my shoulder...

Uh oh...

"And I expect all my students..." Crowler slammed a ruler right on Jaden's desk to get his attention, "...TO STAY AWAKE!!!" Crowler shouted at Jaden.

Jaden didn't jump from the sound or shout, all he did was nuzzle his head on my neck trying to block out Crowler's yelling.

I chuckled from nervousness since everyone was staring at us. I placed Jaden's head on his own desk and looked at Crowler with a smile.

"I'll make sure Jaden knows the strategies by heart Dr.Crowler." I said.

Crowler growled at Jaden since he was under my protection and Crowler went back to his lesson.

~Duel Academy School Grounds~

~Jaden's POV~

"You know... Crowler doesn't like it when you sleep in his class." (Y/N) said while me and her were walking around outside.

I didn't respond, I had a lot going on in my mind right now. Fusing with Yubel, my adventure destroying The Light Of Destruction and now what i'll be doing after I graduate.

"Hello? Earth to Jaden..." (Y/N) snapped her fingers to gain my attention.

"What!?" I said annoyed.

We continued to walk with my hands in my pockets and (Y/N) folding her arms.

"One, don't get an attitude with me. Second, you need to start paying attention more in class." (Y/N) told me which made me aggravated.

"Your not the first person to tell me to pay attention in class. I saved the world! Cut me some slack!" I shouted at her.

(Y/N) stopped and I stopped with her too, "You saved the world??? Wow!" She said in a sarcastic tone, "Try putting that on your resume at a job interview!"

I growled and stormed off, "I don't have to take this!" I shouted leaving.

"Fine! Leave then!" She shouted, "It's not the first time you left me..." I heard a sad tone from that sentence.

My heart stopped when she said that. I wanted to turn around and hug her but she was already gone.

~At The Slifer Dorm~

~(Y/N)'s POV~

"Stupid Jaden..." I muttered, "I'm just trying to make sure you graduate so we can have a happy future together."

As I made my way up to the wooden stairs leading to my room, I saw a guy with an Obelisk Blue uniform on standing by my door.

He looked at me with his indigo eyes and his dirty yellow hair.

He gave me an innocent smile, "Hi...my name's Yusuke."
