I was now sitting in a limo with Aster. He was busy drinking bubbling Apple Cider out of a wine glass while I was staring out the limo's tinted windows. It was rainy out so it was hard to see outside clearly, all I could see were the lights coming from within stores, traffic lights, street lights and more.
"Are you ok, (Y/N)?" Aster asked me. "Y-Yeah I'm fine. It's just..." I hesitated but I saw Aster's concerned face and continued, "I feel bad for leaving Jaden all alone. He said he was going to miss me." Aster took a sip of his drink and chuckled at me, "Feel bad for Jaden? Why do you care about what he feels?" I didn't respond, I just looked at the ground with my face turning red.
Aster poured more Apple Cider in his glass and took another sip. "I see...You like him don't you?" He asked and I nodded. Aster crossed his legs and smiled lifting my chin up with his hand, "Cheer up. You'll be back tonight. There's no reason to worry. Don't let him stop you from having fun tonight." Aster was a little bit right, I am constantly feeling bad for Jaden but I can make it up to him when I get back.
I smiled at Aster, took a fancy wine glass, hit my glass with his and said, "Fill it up." He smiled and poured Cider in my glass.
~Meanwhile At Duel Academy~
~Jaden's POV~
(Y/N) just left me all alone. How could she? (Y/N) has been constantly going out to her job and now to a party with Aster.
Is she falling for Aster? But I thought it was clear that I love her.
I heared my door open. I bounced up from my bed expecting (Y/N) but it was Syrus instead. "Hey Jay. I noticed your light was still on in your room. What's going on? Your usually asleep by now." Syrus asked. I wanted to put on a smile for him to reassure that i'm fine. But I wasn't fine. I was devastated.
I let out a shaken breath and burrowed my face in my hands, tearing up. "Jaden? Why are you crying?" Syrus said sadly, "Because Sy, I'm in love with (Y/N)..." I told him and Syrus's face was in shock, "Really?" He said surprised and I nodded.
I put my knees towards my chest and held them together with my arms. I was curled up into a ball. I lifted my head up, my tears running down my face to shout "And now I'm gonna lose her to Aster! I want her to be with me Syrus." Syrus stared at me for a moment then determination filled his face, "Don't worry Jaden. I won't let you lose (Y/N). I'll make her see what a great guy you are! And then she'll have to fall in love with you! You can count on me." Syrus ran off leaving me glad that I have a friend like Syrus.
~Back In The Limo~
~(Y/N)'s POV~
Me and Aster were laughing up a storm, telling jokes and silly stories that happened to us. Aster then started to swirl his Bubbling Apple Cider around, "You know. I have never laughed this hard in so long since my dad-" Aster caught himself which made me question him, "Your dad?"
Aster huffed and sighed, "My dad went missing when I was six. The last thing he gave me were my Destiny HERO's. I hope one day I can find him." I looked at Aster's hardened face and decided I should confess my past too. "My mom went missing when I was young too. The day before she left...she gave me the Darklord cards." We both sat in silence knowing our painful pasts.
It was sad. We both sympathized with each other rather than one over the other. We both know how it feels for a family member to vanish and your life change drastically.
Aster put up a slight smile and lifted his glass for a toast, "To finding our parents one day...Cheers?" I smiled and gladly toasted with Aster, "Cheers." I said and we drank the Cider.
~Inside The Ballroom~
Aster and I walked down the red carpet with a bunch of photographers taking pictures of us. "Over here Mr. Phoenix!" One photographer said, "Smile for the camera, Aster!" Another said, "Who is your lovely date tonight, Mr. Phoenix!?" A news reporter shouted.
Date? People think i'm Aster's date?
We are just friends.
Aster and I didn't answer their requests and kept walking.
The Ballroom looked beautiful with many colorful decorations on the walls and curtains. The ceiling was covered with many chandeliers above. The floor was pure marble added with a long purple carpet along it.

A song started to play and Aster offered me his hand, "Care to dance, my princess?" He winks at me. I now with my dress bow and say, "Of course. My prince..." I take his hand and we dance through the Ballroom.
Both looking and dancing like royalty.
To be honest...most of the time we danced I imagined it was me and Jaden.

~Jaden's POV~
It was two o'clock AM and I heared (Y/N) finally return to our dorm. I was pretending to sleep. I didn't want to talk to her right now.
"Phew. I am exhausted from all that dancing...*yawns*" She said. I saw her climb up to her bed and saw her tiara, shoes and dress fall from her bad.
"I know your awake Jaden..." She said.
Busted.
I got up out of bed and climbed up onto her bed. We both were in our pajamas with no socks on.
"How was the party?" I asked her, "It was nice." She then gave me a sad look and added, "Look. Jaden. I'm sorry that I made you upset. I-" I interrupted her by hugging her tightly. "Don't be sorry. I'm just glad your back in my arms." She kissed my cheek and we both laid down on her bed. She was on top of me while I still hugged her. Our pajamas made us even more comfortable than we already were.
I saw her slowly close her eyes and drift off to sleep. I kissed her on the top of her head and went to sleep too.
"Goodnight (Y/N)." I say but she didn't respond. She was asleep.
