Chapter 6: The Exams

"Now then, tell me what are the different types of monsters there are in dueling." Bastion told me preparing me for the Exams today. We were both early for the Exams so we sat in Professor Banner's room and quizzed each other.

"Lets see. There are Normal, Effect, Spirit, Gemini, Flip and Fusion Monsters." I said and Bastion gave me a thumbs up, "Correct. I think your going to do fine." I smiled, that gave me confidence in myself.

We started to see more people come in for the Exams and Bastion got up and went to his seat. Alexis sat next to me.
"How was your duel with Jaden?" I asked her. She smiled, "I lost but I gotta admit he's pretty tough." I then asked her, "Were you really going to get them expelled if Jaden lost?" She gave me a shocked look, "No way. Duel Academy is much more interesting with Jaden around." I couldn't agree more.

Professor Banner came walking in with his cat, Pharoh, and told us to take our seats. We all did. "Now class. There will be two exams today. One is the written exam, which is right now, and the other is the field exam." Professor Banner explained then started handing out the written exam. As soon as I got it, I went to work.

~Jaden's POV~

I was running towards the school as fast as I can. I was going to be on time but I saw a woman trying to move a car up the road all by herself, "Hmm... To be early or to be a gentlemen? Ehh, I've been late before." And off I went to help her move her car. She thanked me and said that she will remember this. I hope so... That car was heavy.

I arrived to Banner's class to see everyone working on their exams. (Y/N) was the first person that caught my eye. I waved to her and she smiled as she waved back at me. She was so cool and protective of me. I wonder why?

I sat in my seat next to Syrus. Syrus looked exhausted and passed out on his desk. I did what every supportive friend would do in this situation... Join the club! I slept on my desk as well.

~(Y/N) POV~

I was on my last question on the Exam. It was an extra credit question. It said to list out the Millennium Items. I had no idea what the Millennium Items were but I noticed that I was writing down answers like I knew what they were. For a second I felt like I couldn't control my own body. Like something else was.

When my hand stopped writting. My paper had a whole bunch of names of items under the last question, Millennium Puzzle, Millennium Ring, Millennium Rod, Millennium Necklace, Millennium Scale, Millennium Key & Millennium Eye.

"Well that was weird..." I said to myself and turned in my exam to Professor Banner. I was the first. The bell rang and everyone else turned in their exams also. Professor Banner made one last announcement to everyone, "Do not forget students that the rare cards are here." That made everyone frantic and start flooding out the classroom.

"Ms. Anderson. Could you please come here." Professor Banner said. I walked over to his desk and he presented me with a purple jacket. It looked like the one I was wearing right now but... Purple. I took it and asked, "A purple uniform? I've never seen one of these. What's it for?" He then smiled and told me, "A purple uniform is a special uniform I give out to students that get the extra credit question correct. I have never given a single one until today. Please put it on." I did what he said, taking off my Obelisk Blue uniform and I gotta admit, I like it. This really suits my (H/C) hair and my (E/C) eyes. It was soft too and very comfortable, so comfortable that I could sleep with this thing on at night. The purple fabric was made of cotton. Very soft to the touch.
