Chapter 10: He's My World

~(Y/N)'s POV~

I slammed my door shut. I left everyone to deal with Syrus and Zane's problem themselves. I can't stand to look at Zane anymore. Zane isn't like a brother to me anymore since he can't actually be a good one in real life.

I let out a sign. I needed to clear my mind. I walked around my room trying to look for the TV remote. Looked on the shelf, nope. The table? No. On my bed? Not there.

I scratched my head staring at the television, "Where the heck is the remote?" I asked myself. All of a sudden the TV turned on by itself. That scared me so much I fell to the ground. I rubbed my butt from my fall then I saw someone sitting on my bed.

I stood and got a better look at who it was. It was the Monster Spirit from before. It had my remote in it's hand. It then looked at me, "Hi Master. Can you help me with this digital thing? I can't hear what the people in the box are saying." From its voice, it was a girl. Her voice was high pitched and sweet.

Instead of running like last time, I slowly walked up to it. I examined her, she had the same things as last time, violet hair, pointy ears, black wings, hazelnut eyes. The only difference was she looked real, she had pale skin and now a neck chain, also large earnings.

"Y-your not going to hurt me are you?" I asked her. She shook her head, "Ofcourse not. I would never dream of harming you." That made me less tense, giving me the courage to sit next to her on my bed. She handed me the remote and I did what she asked. I turned up the volume...

"Thank you, Master! Your the best!" She told me cheerfully then proceeded to watch TV. I was about to say something but she put her finger on my lips shushing me. I folded my arms and waited till her show was over.

~Jaden's POV~

I just had a sweet battle with Zane. I lost sadly, I wanted to show Syrus that he should stand up to his brother. I hope he saw that with my duel against Zane.

(Y/N) wasn't there to see it. She ran off looking sad. I guess Zane meant a lot to her. Maybe she needs some cheering up. I'm gonna go see her.

~(Y/N)'s POV~

While I was waiting for the girl's show to end. I found my deck on my bed and looked through it. One card caught my eye, it was Darklord Ixchel. I held it next to the female Monster Spirit and they were an exact match.

"I-Ixchel?" I asked unsure if that was her name. The Monster Spirit turned her head towards me, "Yes?" She said. So that's her name.

Ixchel was still starring at me waiting for me to say something. I said the first thing that came into my mind, "Your very pretty." I know, saying a Spirit was pretty but she was from my deck and I do love my cards dearly. Ixchel smiled and gave me a big hug, "Your so sweet, Master!" I couldn't help but smile and laugh. Ixchel was such a sweetheart.

"You can just call me (Y/N). The whole 'Master' thing is too much." I told her.
"As you wish, (Y/N)." She said. That's better. She let go of me and continued to watch TV. I sat and watched with her.

Me and Ixchel talked a lot. Talking about normal things, then she asked me how it's like being human. Then I asked her how it's like being a Monster Spirit.
But then we got onto some touchy subjects...

Ixchel asked me, "I heard that humans have something called families. How's your family like? I'm sure their as kind as you (Y/N)." That made my smile fade and made my heart darken, "I have no family, Ixchel..." Ixchel looked surprised but understood by my expression to not ask any further, "Oh. I'm sorry for asking. Your turn to ask me something." Ixchel said and I did.

"Let's see... I'm sure there are millions of Monster Spirits out there right?" I asked, "Right." Ixchel responded, "So who is the most powerful Monster Spirit?" I asked then Ixchel looked sad. She rubbed her arm and responded, "We don't talk about her..." Ixchel sadly said and I didn't go further.

It got quiet between us until there was some noise coming from my balcony. "Ixchel, hide!" I said and Ixchel disappeared.

I stared at my balcony to see what the noise was. I got closer and the noise was something rustling in the trees. I then see a hand grab hold onto my balcony railing. Then another. Last I saw a head pop up. It was Jaden.

"A little help would be nice." Jaden said struggling to climb up. I ran to him and pulled him up. He thanked me and gave me a smile. My cheeks turned red.

"Jaden. What are you doing here?" I asked him. "You ran off looking so sad. So I came to see if you were ok." He said sounding worried for me. "That's sweet of you. But I'm fine." I said and Jaden came closer towards me to examine my face. We were so close to each other.

"Are you sure your ok? Your face is turning red." He said. I couldn't help it. He was so close to me. "Yup. I'm fine." I shut my eyes and gave him a nervous laugh. I continued to nervously laugh to hid my blushing. When I opened my eyes, Jaden was gone. Or at least I thought...

"Wow! You have your own TV? That's so cool." Jaden said excitedly. I turned to see Jaden now on my bed watching TV.
He's in my room!!! I can't let him stay here! If he gets caught in my room, me and Jaden are totally going to be expelled. "Jaden you need to-" I was interrupted by the television announcing the Dueling Pro League, "Ladies and Gentlemen! Let the first match of the Dueling Pro League begin!" The crowed shouted on the TV.

There was a Pro Duelist that the screen panned too. He was wearing a nice white suit and had white hair. "Aster Phoenix!" Me and Jaden both shouted. We both looked at each other and laughed. "You know Aster too?" Jaden asked me. I sat down next to him, "Only the greatest Pro Duelist out there!" I said happily.

Me and Jaden continued to watch the Pro Leagues. It was so late and we had classes tomorrow. I didn't realize that my eye lids were getting heavy and I fell asleep on Jaden's shoulder. His jacket was so soft and warm, I couldn't help but cuddle my head onto him.

~Jaden's POV~

(Y/N) layed her head on my shoulder. I guess she was really tired. I gently layed her down on her bed. She looked so cute asleep it was hard to not stare. But my staring was cut short by me yawning. (Y/N) had the right idea, I was exhausted. I plopped down on her bed and fell asleep next to her.

I hope I made her feel better...
