SPOILERS FOR RISE OF SKYWALKER
Ben Solo was a lost soul until he met Rey. He saved her life and gave her his life force, but Rey couldn't let him die for her. She calls upon the Jedi and the force to be with him as they were for her, hoping the man she knew was inside Kylo Ren the whole time could be saved; could be loved.
This story will start off from Rise of Skywalker, at the very end. So if you haven't seen it don't read this yet. I'm writing only because the ending was absolutely heartbreaking to me and Ben dying wasn't fair to me. I understand why he died and that was also how Darth Vader died and it was the only way he could be redeemed in the sense of pleasing the majority of the audience, but I'm not pleased with the ending. If you're like me, read this and give it a shot please! It may not be good because this is the first story I'm publishing but I have written more, I just kept them to myself. Thanks for reading!
