No Answers

Ben's P.O.V.

They beat me till I past out, the last thing I remember is Rey's voice in a panic and it was like I went to sleep. For almost three days.

I don't know if I grew with the force while I was unconscious, but a voice woke me up telling me the final order is coming back. They've tracked us here and they're going to blow up the entire base. Maybe even the planet.

I woke up to that man who hugged Rey, Po, sitting at the table in the corner reading a book. There was pain everywhere and every time I moved.

"Whoa there big guy don't get up just yet." He stood up and walked over to me as I started to get off the gurney I was on.

"Where's Rey?" I ask looking around.

"Handling what they did to you. She's talking to everyone in hanger two. You gotta sick back down dude they had to take a kidney out. You can't be moving that fast this soon."

"We need to leave. Now. I have a feeling they tracked us here I don't know how but I think they did and they're going to annihilate the entire base."

"What? Who? There wasn't anyone left on Exegol, we won."

"No we didn't. There's always people left. The rebellion defeated the Empire before we were born and now you just got done fighting the same fight our parents were 30 years ago. There's always more."

Rey walked in the room when I finished my sentence. Her face lit up with joy. That beautiful face.

"Ben! Oh my god you're finally awake. Thank god, how are you feeling? Can I get you anything?"

"I need to go, Rey we need to leave now."

"Ben what's wrong? You need to rest you had surgery." She tried to get me to lay back down. I did and she propped pillows up behind me to keep me sitting up.

"Rey I have a feeling. I can't explain it. But we need to go."

"Po when did he wake up?" She ask.

"Right before you got back. He's been saying he and you need to leave since he did."

I was murmuring to myself over and over, "we need to go, we need to go, we need to go."

"Ben, tell me what is wrong."

"I can't explain it. I remember being on the floor and you and then nothing. I was asleep. But I woke up and I thought I heard a voice saying go. I don't know if I was dreaming or hallucinating or what is happening but Rey I think the Final Order tracked us here. We need to get everyone out." I'm speaking frantically.

"Hey, hey it's okay, slow down. Why do you think that did you have a vision or something?"

"No, but please Rey you have to trust me. There's too many people here to not get them out even on a hunch." I sound desperate.

Rey looked at Po, he was thinking.

"Is it his decision? Is he the new general?" I ask Rey.

"Yes. I want to go with your word but it's his decision to call a full evacuation. Maybe we could tell them we're just relocating because we are going to need a better and more secure base. There's no need to cause a panic just yet."

Po was now pacing the room. A full evacuation could be dangerous. But so is staying here. I'm not letting Rey get hurt again.

He looked at me and said, "I want to trust you and I want to think that my mentors son wouldn't put her people in harms way. I want to think you've changed and are capable of being something other than Kylo Ren."

"You have my word. She cared about what she has helped build more than everything. And I let her down more than once. I won't do it again."

Po was quiet for a moment and then I heard the hallway outside start to get loud. People were running. Someone pounded on the door.

"WERE UNDER ATTACK EVERYONE OUT!"
