My leg was bouncing up and down in a habit of nervousness and anxiety, I brought Bree to the hospital not only because she was burning up badly but she was continuously getting dizzy and she almost fell a couple times. We've been here for nearly an hour and I am seriously getting impatient with the doctors.

"Bree Rufus?" A doctor comes into the room, "Hi, my name is Maddie and I'm going to be doing your blood work tonight. And is this handsome man your boyfriend?"

I giggled, "I wish, no, I'm just a best friend supporting her. Hi, I'm Ashton."

"Oh my, sorry! Anyways, I'll need you to straighten and relax your arm. Perfect, make a fist for me?" Maddie says, tying a rubber band around Bree's arm.

"Tiny poke, three, two and one." I see Bree flinch but relax right after, I grab her hand in mine and rub my thumb on the back of her hand.

"So, the results of the blood work will tell us what's wrong?" I question and Maddie smiles, nodding her head.

"Yes that is correct, then we'll see what kinds of tests and scans we need to do." She replies and I nod my head understandingly.

"Ash? Can you pass the-" Bree says quickly, pointing to the garbage bin and I scramble to grab it as she sits up, I pass it to her then she's gagging and dry heaving.

"Oh darling, I'm gonna go take this blood to the laboratory and I'll be back with some gravol, apple juice and a sandwich." Maddie says, rolling the cart out and I say a quick thank you.

"I hate this, like, so much." Bree croaks, blowing her nose and she passes me the bin, I cringe and place it on the ground.

"I wish I could take all this pain and sickness away from you, is there anything I can do for you or get you?" I say and she thinks for a minute before smiling.

"Can you sing to me?" I smile and nod my head.

"What song?" I ask and she instantly says Someone You Loved, "You've got it. Be right back."

I get up to see if the hospital had a guitar and lucky for me, they did. I go back into the room and sit back down, Bree just got her shot of gravol then Maddie leaves again. I clear my throat, placing my fingers on the strings then start to strum.

By the time I finished the song, Bree was fast asleep, cuddling up into the blanket. I sigh, smiling before placing a kiss on her forehead. I exit the room to return the guitar and bump into Luke and Calum, they come over and start asking me tons of questions.

"One at a time, please!" I exclaim, sighing then leaning into the wall.

"How is she?" Luke asks.

"She's okay, they gave her gravol and now she's sleeping." I answer.

"Do they know what's going on?" Calum asks next.

"Not yet, they took bloodwork and we're just waiting on the results." I respond.

"I'm sorry we're still kind of drunk, but I'm gonna go get a water. You guys want anything?" Calum asks, looking between Luke and I.

"I'll have a water too, thanks man." Luke says, smiling.

"Ah, I'll have a water and chips. Doesn't matter what kind." I say and Cal nods his head, turning on his heels.

"Ashton? Could I talk with you?" Maddie comes into the room, silencing the guys and I.

"Yep, be back guys." I say, getting up and following her out into the hallway- Bree was still sleeping.

"Okay, so we've got the results back from her bloodwork and it's all good. Just a common stomach flu and she's super dehydrated so we're gonna keep her overnight and provide an intravenous. She can go home tomorrow and we'll also send her home with some gravol. The baby's okay as well, a healthy baby boy." Maddie explains and I choke on my breath, I'm the first to know the gender!

"Thank you so much." I say, she nods and walks away after saying she's gonna go grab the IV drip.

I go back to the room where Bree was now sitting up, sipping her apple juice and I smile lightly. I sit down and stare at her then my gaze falls to her stomach, and I can't believe she's having another boy.

"Ash? You okay?" Bree asks and I clear my throat, running my hands through my hair.

"Y-yeah. I'm fine, Maddie says you'll be kept in until tomorrow sometime and they want you on an IV, you're very dehydrated and you just caught a stomach flu. Baby's fine as well." I explain and she frowns.

"I don't like staying in the hospital alone..." I frown now and I suggest that I stay with her, "Please?"

"Yeah, I'll stay." I say with a smile.

Michael;

I'm laying here on the bed back at the hotel, and I'm not alone. The girl, Katie or whatever, ended up coming with me and to say I fucked up is a complete understatement. I look over at her, she's sleeping nakedly underneath the blankets and I sigh, getting up before going to the washroom.

I look at myself in the mirror and I look like a complete mess, my hairs all over the place and my skin? Fuck, I have love bites all over my body. I run the cold water before using the washroom, I wash my hands then splash cold water onto my face. I go back to the bed, plopping myself down before leaning over to wake her up, saying she has to go.

"Are you serious?" She groans and I chuckle, kissing her shoulder before snatching the blankets away from her and she gasps.

"You need to go, my mates are gonna be back soon." I look at my phone to see I have texts from Ash, Cal and Luke, all having to do with Bree.

"Well I had fun, thanks for a good time and I'll see you around." She says, giving me a quick chaste kiss before leaving out the door. I fall back into the bed, groaning before pulling the blankets over me and closing my eyes, darkness soon came over me and I fall asleep.
