Steve was sitting at the table in the best restaurant in town, chatting with his date. She was beautifull and interesting bit she wasn't her and he couldn't help but think about the time he first took you out. His mouth formed a light smile and his date tought it was ment to her so she leaned in for a kiss when Steve's phone ringed.

"Yes, yes I understand." He nodded. "I'll be right there." He stood up from his chair. "Sorry, raincheck?"

He arrived at the chrime scene ten minutes later still dressed in dark blue buttoned down shirt. A car pulled up after him and you jumped out, thinking the driver. "Hey!" He greeted confuzed when he saw you wearing a dress and a heels.

"Were you two on a date with each other?" Danny giggled but Steve just shugged it off, annoyed.

"What do we have here?" You asked to break the silence.

Tani bite her lip to stop her from laughing as Junior invited them in. "We have a robbery, no one was hurt but they destroyed the place pretty well."

Steve looked around with his arms on his hips. "Okay lets let the police do their job and we will take it from there in the morning. It's been a rough few days, you all need a break."

All the team members nodded, happy to go back home. You were walking until you remembered you came here without your car. "Crap."

"You need a ride?" Steve scared you when he suddenly apeared behind you. "Come your house is on my way anyways."

"You hopped in, breathing in Steve's scent." How was your date?" You engaged the conversation with your ex. The fact that you two were still working together tells everything about the break up. Not that it didn't hurt but you two stayed civil.

He exhaled deeply. "It was... fine I quess." He looked at you while driving. "Yours?" He asked even if he didn't want to her you had a good time with someone other than him.

"It was okay." You looked out of your window and saw a poster of your favorite band playing. "Holly smokes." Steve laughed and parked his car on the side of the road. "What are you doing, can't you see the line is a mile long? We are never gonna make it in."

"C'mon." He grabbed your hand and led you right pass the security. "I have conections." He smirked. "Let's go at front line."

Half an hour later you were dancing and singing with your new girl friend you just made and Steve was watching you closely from the bar, keeping you safe. He smiled from time to time when he remembered how fun it was to be around you.

A thousand years by Christina Perry started playing and you felt a pair of hands hugging you from behind. The hands were hairy and strong, vains popping out and you knew exactly who they belong to.

You melted into Steve's arms as he leaned his chin on your shoulder and swayed his hips with yours. Nothing was said, not a single word was needed.
