I was typing on the main computer when Pua brought up an elder man. He was wearing a suit and a tie and I rolled my eyes at another wannabe coming to us for some private help that Steve is not gonna give him.

I quickly turn the screen dark and turn around. "Hey Pua." I greet my college friend. "How's it going?"

"Hey y/n, I brought you a visitor. Someone wants to meet you." He made a hand gesture for man to walk in front of him. "I'll be outside if you'll need me." He winked and I was glad he didn't leave me completely alone.

I stood quiet waiting for what the man has to say. He smiled and extended his hand for me to shake. "I'm Bruce Smith. I know you don't remember me but a few years ago.... Twenty seven, I was dating your mom."

I knew exactly where this was going so I stopped him. "Don't... You need to leave."

"C'mon I'm your father, don't push me away..." He stepped closer to me.

I stepped back and form my hands in to fists. "You are not.. you left when you found about about me... You chickened out. Get out!" I screamed again as I feel Steve's hand hold onto mine.

"Is everything okay?" He calmly asked looking sternly at the older man.

I saw Pua standing at the entrance reaching for his gun. "Yes, he was just leaving."

"You look like a reasonable guy, why don't you tell my daughter to speak with me." He pointed at me irritated.

I punched his nose with all force I got inside me. "I am not your daughter." I turned to Steve, anger in my eyes and he knew he had to do something or else I will lose my shit.

Steve grabbed the man's tie and pushed him to the wall. "Leave now or I will lock you in Halawa for being an idiot." He pushed him out of the door and nodded Pua to escort him out. "And don't come back."

"Thank you." I smiled.

Steve sat down next to me. "What was this about?"

"The jerk whose blood runs in my veins." I rolled my eyes. "It's a long story."

"I would love to hear it if you ever want to talk." He patted my legs and walked out. "And you know what... He doesn't deserve you."
