"Where the hell is Steve. "I scream when my contraction gets heavier.

"Miss McGarret calm down, he's in the middle of perusing a very important terrorist that could kill half of Hawaii." The nurse calmly explained. She was helping me with breathing and doing exercises that help reduce pain.

"I swear to god if he isn't here my the time our baby is born I'll kill him myself." The few nurses and a doctor that came to check me up chuckled a little and I gave him a death glare.

Doctor coughed and excused himself. Nurses followed close behind.

Another contract came and it was a lot more painful that the previous one. "Holly mother of jezus."

My phone rings and a picture of Steve appears on the screen. I grab the phone and answer.

"Darling, I'm on my way hold on just a little bit." I hear a tire squawking and I know he is driving Danny's camaro way past speeding limit.

"Aaaaaa..." I scream through another contraction. The nurse told me it was almost here and I need to hang up. "Steve the baby is coming hurry up. I'm scared."

"Baby listen to me. You are the bravest person I know. Remember how you saved all those hostages from the crazy psycho, or when you save that little kid from drowning..." he was trying to make me feel better, braver. But truthfully I was a mess. I wasn't even sure if we are ready for a baby.

I hear his voice coming closer until he pushes the door open with his phone still on his ear. "I made it."

I smile at my husband in a police uniform. Another contract hits me and I cry out in pain. "It's time. When the next contraction comes you need to push as strong as you can." The nurse holds my hand then he motions to Steve to take over her job.

Steve holds on my hand and I clung on his for dear life. With one push the head was out. I heard the baby cry and I started to cry at the beautifully voices.

Steve's tear drop on my hand and I saw him smile. "It's be..." With a loud thud he fell to the floor unconscious.

I pushed just a little and the baby was out. "Congratulations it's a boy."

After a few minutes Steve started to shift in the arm chair, where the doctors have put him. He opened his eyes and saw me holding a baby, wrapped in light blue.

He started crying again. "It's a boy?" I nod and hand it to him. "Oh my god he is beautiful. I can't believe I missed his birth."

"It's okay. But Danno might tease you. How did you faint to a sight of birth but you can kill people like a maniac." I mimic Danny's voice.

Steve laughs and rolls his eyes. He sits on the edge of the bed, still holding our son. "I love you. And you too." He kisses his little cheek.

"John." I smile. "His name is John, like his grandfather."

Steve looks at me with teary eyes and nods. "Hello John. I'm your dad and this is your beautiful mommy. You are named after your brave granddad and I can't wait to tell you all the stories about..."

I lean back. I am so happy I have my little family beside me finally.
