11. request pt. 2

"This feels like Afghanistan all over again." Y/N chuckled. "Me saving you and you rushing with me to the hospital."

Steve barely held it together from all the excitement and pain but he needed to be the stronger person right now. "I'm glad you find this situation funny baby."

"Oh my god Steve..." y/n looked at his his husband with straight face. "My water just broke and I have an urge to push."

Steve stepped harder on a gas pedal and grabbed his wife's hand, trying to calm her down. "We are ten minutes away."

"I'm afraid the baby won't wait this long." Y/N screamed in contraction. "He already has something from you, stubbornness." She kissed Steve's hand, interlocking their fingers. "I can feel the baby's head."

"We're one minute away, hold on." Steve drove his car at the emergency entrance and as soon as doctors loaded his wife they wanted to grab him and take him to stitch his wounds. "No way in hell. My first baby is being born right now and I will be next to my wife." He protested and ran straight behind her leaving a blood trail behind him.

Not more than five minutes later, Steve was looking at the most beautiful face. "You look just like your mommy little princess." He kissed them both.

"I love you tough pants but you need to stay with us door a lot more years." Y/N kissed her husband. "Go get your wounds checked. We will be right here."

An hour later Steve walked in the room. His wife was peacefully sleeping and Joe was rocking his baby. "Hey guys." He whispered to Danny, Junior, and Adam who were standing next to Joe. "I'm glad you came. Where is Tani?"

"She had to drive Catherine to the airport." Joe chuckled.

Danno laughed. "Yep, the news about the wife with a baby... total buzz kill. She moved to Alaska and won't be coming back any time soon."

Steve's wife slowly woke up. "Guys quit teaching my baby girl how to be a rude!"

They all laughed and raised his hands up in deference. "Sorry and nice to finally meet you. We can see why Steve kept you hidden, beautiful."

"Okay I think we should leave now." Joe put the little girl in to his father's arms. "Keep my daughter and granddaughter safe."

Steve kissed his little girl and sat down on the bed next to his wife. "I'm gonna tell you a story on how your daddy met the most amazing woman..."
