~Sequel to Part of The Game~
Tanya and Dave are still going strong. With Tanya pregnant with their baby boy, Dave's working hard as ever. But, with him still being in the game, will he ever be able to get out and set a better example for their son?
Hey y'all👋🏾 before I start this chapter I just wanna say that I'm extremely grateful for you guys. I never thought of myself as a good writer but you guys make me feel like I am one. This is most likely gonna be the last update of 2019 so I just wanna say thank you and Happy New Year!!!💕 —————————————————————————— 2 months later...
"Baby, bring the plates!" I said to Dave.
"I'm coming."
Today, Dave and I decided to throw a dinner party just because. It's been awhile since the whole crew has been around each other so Dave and I cooked and invited everybody over. The kids were with Tariq since he really wanted to babysit. We invited everybody including Carrie. I didn't want to, but Dave insisted that we invite her to "talk things out".
"Here you go." He said, handing me the plates.
"Thanks baby."
Dave kept his promise and was home more. He was home basically throughout the whole day and when he did leave, he wasn't gone late.
I put all the plates down in their designated spots. There was absolutely assigned seats at this dinner party. I didn't want any issues tonight, so everybody was next to people that they can tolerate.
"Is there anything else I need to bring out?"
"Wine and whatever y'all niggas wanna drink."
"Alright."
I went over to the hallway and looked in the full body mirror. I looked good as hell. My body looks amazing after this baby. When I had the time, my snapback was off the charts.

I went back to the dining room area and posed in front of Dave. "How do I look?"
"Sexy as hell." He said, rubbing his hands together.
"Thanks."
Dave on the other hand was giving the girls Basic Betty. He had a white t-shirt, blue joggers, and socks. Not even shoes-just socks. I couldn't blame him though. Neither of us was trying to impress anybody. I just wanted to dress up.
The doorbell rang and I checked the time. It was only 5:30. I told everybody 6 knowing they wouldn't get here until 6:45. I looked at Dave and he looked as confused as I did. Regardless, I shrugged and went to the door. When I opened it, it was Randy and Carrie.
"Hey." I said with a genuine yet fake smile.
"Hey, T." Randy smiled. "I know you said 6, but I wanted you guys to talk things out early."
"Okay, well, come in." As they both walked in, I stopped Randy and pulled him to the side.
"What's wrong?"
"I didn't know you two were back together."
"Oh, we're not." He said. "She has a boyfriend, but he's coming later. She also wanted to talk things out prior to everybody getting here, so she asked to ride with me."
