Tanya

The next morning, I went to see Kianna. I had left the house at about 6:30 just to make sure I wouldn't have to see Dave's face. The anger had subsided and now, I was just hurt and confused. What was I going to do? I have two kids by this man, possibly three. Damn! I forgot to take the pregnancy tests.

"Fuuuck." I groaned.

I pulled into the driveway and parked behind Kianna's car. Sighing, I grabbed my purse and got out. I walked to the door and knocked. The door opened and Kianna was standing there, tired and lost.

"Tanya, it's like 7 in the damn morning. What are you doing here?"

"I came to talk to you...and see my boys."

"Come on in, but I told you Ms. Leslie came to get them."

"You did?" I asked, walking in and sitting on the couch.

"Girl, yes. I texted you."

I looked down at my phone and I definitely had a text from Kianna at 11 o'clock last night.

"Sorry, my phone was on do not disturb."

"Why? You never do that when the kids aren't home." She said, sitting next to me.

I sighed. "I didn't want to talk to anyone. Specifically, Dave."

"Why? What happened?"

"I told him about what happened with Gionni and he let me know that all the times that he was never home, he was cheating on me with a girl who used to work for him."

"Im sorry...he what?"

"Yep." I mumbled.

"What's the bitch name?"

"Dawn."

"Tuh! Probably a fake name. Imma go ask Shad."

She started to get up, but I pulled her back down. "Girl, no."

"And why the hell not?"

"Shad and Dave are friends. I don't want him in the middle."

She rolled her eyes. "Fine. I'll find out on my own."

"Hey, um, are those pregnancy tests still in your car?"

"Damn, you never did take em." She said. "They might be."

"I'm sure you're going back to sleep, so can I check?"

"WE can check after we both wake up. I'm sure you woke up early as hell for you to be here at this time. Take your ass to the guest room."

"Kianna."

"There wasn't a question mark at the end of that statement."

I huffed. "Okay, fine."

"See you later on."

"Mmhmm." I said, making my way to the room.

12:30 p.m.

My eyes fluttered open as the rays from the sun came threw the curtains. I yawned and checked my phone to see what time it was. I had 10 missed calls and 25 text messages all from Dave. Rolling my eyes, I pulled the cover off of me and stood up. I slowly opened up the guest room door, but was immediately pushed back in and the door was silently closed back.

"What the hell, Kianna?"

"Girl, shush." She whispered.

"What's going on?"

"Dave's here. He's in the backyard panicking cause he don't know where you at."

"He didn't see my car?"
