Donna's sister from back home

Part 10

Me and Donna spent the whole day and didn't find a thing. We are only just leaving at it is eleven at night. "So Donna do you need me tomorrow." She looks me up and down and the presses the elevator button. "I will answer that if you tell me what happened in the file room when I left." I sigh, "I tried to make conversation and after Harold knocked on the door. I panicked so did the only think I could think of. I was already on the floor so I messed min and his hair up and loosened his tie. Lets just say Harold didn't notice the files. Mike left because he was late and said thanks. I said I was mad but your welcome."

Then the doors open and we walk inside, "wow. do you still like him." I sigh, "I think I do and I hate myself for it. He lied to me and is still not telling me something. Not only that, but when or if we did get together I would have to wait for him to be my husband to actually tell him what I do for a living." She nods, "true, wait it out everything will work out by itself. You just have to have hope."

We get home and I fall onto my bed and look at me phone, no messages from Mike. I put my phone down and get ready for bed and then fall asleep.

The next day I get up and ready (outfit above) then I meet Donna outside and Luke takes us to PH. Donna said I could come back and help look through the files. I told the detectives to get the captain to call me if the found anything.

After we had spent half of the day in that room Donna let me go and get food. I decided to go to 'fizzy dizzy café' I walk in and go up to the counter and I see Wendy, "hi Wendy, I'm back." She turns around and smiles, "it's good to see I didn't think you would be coming back. Do you want a table." I shake my head, "no can I have some two burgers and fries to go please also a strawberry and chocolate milkshake." She nods and writes down my order, "that will be two minutes. I hope next time you come in with your boyfriend. He seemed nice. Everyone here seemed to like the two of you." I smile but the say, "We're just friends." Maybe not even that. "Not for long." She winked at me and then was gone.

She comes back with my order, "Thanks Wendy I'm sure my sister will love this." She smiles, "anytime, come again soon." I smile and say bye. After that I make my way back to the firm.

When I get there I set the food on the table and we start to eat, "this is heaven. I forgot how good you are at finding good food places." I laugh, "what can I say I love uncovering the true food royalty." She smiles and we start to really catch up I tell her all about back home and she tells me what has been going on in her personally life. She tried to date but it didn't work out. I didn't think it would, her and Harvey are meant to be.

It becomes night time and we are still digging through boxes. I look over to see Donna looking at something, I walk over and see what she's looking at. I freeze in my place, she found the memo and it has her stamp on it. The I hear someone walk in it's Rachel, "ah, that's where you are. I've been looking for you Donna. You two okay? You look like you're gonna be sick." Donna is in shock so I jump in, "oh, God, you know, actually, I do, I feel like I'm down with something, and I must have given it to Donna. Do you think that maybe you could grab us some waters?" She nods, "yeah, yeah of course."

She leaves and I just hold my sister stroking her hair, "it's going to be just fine, I'm here for you." She starts to cry in my arms and I just hold her.
