A/N: Hey guys so I am back and I reread this story again and can't wait to write more parts for it. Also I have set up an Instagram account with the same username and profile pic as Wattpad. I will be doing updates and polls for this story and my other ones as well. So please have a look and follow. I haven't posted anything yet but I will be soon.

It was the afternoon and I just received a heart breaking phone call, and now I have to share the bad news. I knock on the door and see Mike as he says, "surprise! Daisy... hey, what are you doing here? Come in." I walk in after him and watch him continue to set up for his Grandma and I say trying to find the right words, "Mike, someone kept calling the office for you. It was the nursing home and... I guess-- I guess that's emergency number they had."

I really don't know how to say this and then he looks at me all big eyed, "um.. what?" I take a deep breath and say, "it's your grandma. She passed away." He shakes his head, "no, no, she's--" His eyes water and so do mine, "I'm so sorry." He steps back, "but... she didn't even get to s--to see--" I nod, "I know. Mike I--I'm-- I'm so sorry." I pull him into a hug as he brakes down in my arms in tears.

(Outfit above.) It's now the next day and it took a lot of persuasion for me to leave Mike last night. He just seemed so broken and now here I am walking into the file room the next day, and he's working. "Michael Ross, what are you doing here. Don't you dare say working." He doesn't look up as he says, "Daisy, meet the file room, it's where we store information on the cases that we're working on." I scoff, "up, I can do your work for Harvey. I can't believe he would make you work right now." He sighs, "You mean because my Grandmother died. You can say it, and Harvey doesn't know."

I sigh, "why, Mike he would want to know." He shakes his head, "no he wouldn't, there's a vote going on, and he's gotta bigger things on his mind." I nod, "okay, if you don't want to tell people then fine. I'm not going to pressure you into anything, if this how you want to grieve then at least let me help you with these files so your not alone. I'm here if you want to yell at someone or talk or not talk." He nods, "thanks, I just really want to be alone right now." I nod, "if that's what you want, I'm going to get a file and then I will be gone." As I was about to leave Mike get's up, "I need some air. I'll see you later." Before I could respond he leaves.

I was in my office when files were dumped on my desk. I look up to see Louis, "these cases are a priority. You do these before you even consider doing anything for Harvey." I scoff, "no can do Louis." Louis shakes his head, "I am a senior partner and there's new manging partner and this order is from him so--" I cut him off, "look, according to my contract I only take orders from Jessica and Harvey. It's a little clause I asked to be added knowing one day you were going to use being head of associates against me." He glares, "I can still fire you." I shake my head, "No you can't, also in my contract it says only Jessica or Harvey can do that, you know just in case you use that threat against me. I'm not your associate Louis so please leave, I have work to do." He takes back the files and storms off.

I heard about Mike's explosion in the bullpen and sighed knowing this would happen. Rachel then knocks on my door and then sits down, "why was Mike even in. I was there when you got that phone call I was not imaging it." I nod, "Rachel, let him grieve how he wants to. He just needs time and me and you need to give it to him. So if you'll excuse me I need to finish this."

A/N: Hey guys I hope you liked this part and I am back I know I say this a lot but I am re-watching suits and it made me want to start this again. Please do comment what you think of how she handled the Mike thing, I made sure she handled it differently form Rachel and let him grieve how he wants.

Xoxo Maddie.
