Hera's POV
"HERA, wake up. It's past 6 already."
"Heh. Give me 5 minutes." I said drowsily. Nakakabwisit lang kasi. I slept at 2 am last night and now they're trying to wake me up this early? Ghad! Hassle.
"Have you forgotten? First day of school, missy. You better wake up. Kung hindi ka pa gigising, then fine. I'll leave you. Nagmamadali din ako if you know." Napabalikwas ako sa higaan ko. How can I forget? It's the first day. My first day for crying out loud! I'm already a high school student!
"Yah. Sorry Mom. I was out of my mind last night."
"Yeah fine. Make it fast.'Pag ako nalate I swear malalagot ka."
I hurriedly got ready. In a matter of 10 minutes, I was already done fixing. Ayoko mabahiran ng tardy ang record ko for my first year in high school.

After less than 30 minutes, I arrived at my new school. Good thing it wasn't that traffic. Nakarating ako bago mag flag ceremony.
I looked around. Wow. Everything seems so new. New school, new uniform, new stuffs, new faces. Kinda uncomfortable. Paninibago.
I found my section's line and the flag ceremony took place. I observed the faces of my new classmates. Yeah, wala nga akong namumukhaan. Looks like wala talaga akong kila-Woah woah, wait? Is that..
"You may now proceed to your classrooms." The principal announced. Nakakainis. Interruption. I followed the line and we arrived sa bago naming room. 3rd floor, room #32. Mas malaki at mas maraming gamit. I proceeded to the last row of 3rd column. Mas gusto ko talagang umuupo sa likod kasi nakakapag solo ka, which is better kasi mas mafofocus ka sa studies.
I roamed my eyes around.
My classmates were busy making noises. Don't get me wrong, ha. Makakapal ang mukha nila in a good way. Mga friendly kumbaga. Well, as for me? No way. It's better to be alone than communicate with people that'll only stab you in the back.
Their chitchat was interrupted when a girl-Probably mid 30's, arrived. I'm guessing she's our first subject teacher. She entered the classroom with a smile plastered in her face. Mukhang hindi naman siya intimidating at strikta. Not bad.
"Good Morning class!" She said na medyo may pagka hyper pa. "I'm Mrs. Dela Vega. Aimee Dela Vega. Your science teacher and adviser at the same time. I'm pleased to see all of you today! Sana ay maganda ang maestablish na relasyon sa klaseng ito! Always remember that we are a family!" I rolled my eyes. Napakaraming kadramahang alam.
"Good Morning 'din Ma'am!" Some of my classmates responded. Mukhang vibes na agad nila 'tong teacher na 'to. I also heard some of them saying na ang swerte daw namin sa adviser namin, ang bait daw, etc. They already judged her as if they already know her. Simula palang naman ah? Malay mo, pakitang tao lang pala.
"Okay! We're having a great start. So, let me know more about you guys!" At ayan na. Magsisimula na ang worst part of first days, introductions. "Hi guysh! I am Chris Flores. 16 from Dracquila University! My hobbies are eating and talking with my friendlalus. HIHI!" He waved his hand and went back to his seat. Mukha namang medyo matagal tagal pa ako so I decided to take a nap for a while. Kahit mga 10 minutes lang because I was feeling so damn tired at partida, kakasimula pa lang ng araw.
"Hey. I'm Abby dela Cruz from Flemming University. Hobbies? Reading books." OH MY GOSH. What is she doing here?! Is she out of her mind? Sinusundan ba ako nitong babaeng 'to? Nakakabwisit! I felt relieved nung gumraduate ako kasi naisip ko na masosolo ko na ang pagiging valedictorian but then she suddenly showed up again! Argh. The nerves of this girl!
"Is that all Ms. dela Cruz?"
She walked towards her seat but stopped and said, "And I'm gonna be this school year's Suma cum laude."
