Hello everyone. I know I haven't posted in a long time and i am really sorry about that but i couldn't think for the life of me how to word this chapter. But I have written it and it is complete...although i don't really like the first half of this chapter. A few things do happen though but i'll let you guys read them. So i hope you enjoy this chapter and after this i will have only four more chapters including an epilouge to write and i already have plans for how they are going to turn out so i shouldn't be too long writing them but I suck at finding time to write. Anyway enough from me, i'll elt you read now. Enjoy!

Chapter Twenty Six
Lydia I was clutching hold of Jamie’s hand as I stood behind my aunt watching as Oriana walked lightly up the stairs and into her room. Silence fell over the three of us as Oriana’s door clicked shut. My aunt sighed before turning round to face us, a determined look in her eyes. “You say nothing to her about this family ‘curse’. Do you understand me?” she said harshly, keeping her voice low. My eyes widened. ‘She can’t be serious’ I thought as I gaped at her. “What?” I whispered shocked. She straightened her posture. “You heard me”. I frowned and took an involuntary step towards her.
“You heard her. She thinks she is some sort of exception to a rule” I said forcefully as tension built between us. My aunt stayed silent so I continued. “She as a right to know that she isn’t alone, that I see them too” I whisper yelled at her. Turning away and walking to the stairs she paused at the bottom. “We will tell her…eventually” she said calmly and began to walk to the top floor of the house. I released Jamie’s hand and stormed forward. “We should have told her tonight” I said storming up a few of the stairs. My aunt spun on her heel and looked livid. “Keep your mouth shut Lydia. She doesn’t need to know right now. I just got my daughter back and I’m not risking losing her again. You understand me?” she demanded glaring at me. I opened my mouth to argue back but the harsh look she gave me made me keep my mouth shut. She turned around and walked up the rest of the stairs and into her room, closing the door softly behind her.
I stood there frozen on the stairs completely shocked at the harsh tone of my aunt. She had never spoken to me that way before. ‘She’s just scared about Oriana’ I told myself. But if she really was scared or worried about her, then she would have told her the truth, told her she isn’t alone. I felt a hand land on my shoulder and I jumped in shock at the contact. I spun round and came face to face with a sad looking Jamie. I had almost forgotten that he was even still here. “She’ll calm down soon” he told me offering a smile. I returned it and collapsed into his warm embrace. He hugged me tightly to him and I smiled. I felt safe and secure in his arms. “I love you” I whispered turning my head and kissing at the base of his throat. He squeezed me tight before pulling away. “I love you too” he murmured placing a soft lingering kiss on my forehead.

It was the morning after Oriana had come home, the second of November, a Wednesday. I had had the day of the day before because of Oriana’s return. I was sitting in the kitchen ready for school with my bag beside me when Oriana entered the kitchen. She smiled at me and I smiled weakly. I hadn’t slept well the night before knowing that I was keeping a secret from Oriana.
“You gonna eat that?” she asked as she sat down opposite me and indicated the plate of toast in front of me. I shook my head having no appetite and pushed it towards her. “Knock yourself out” I said weakly. She pulled the plate closer and dug in. She seemed happier than when she left for that place. I smiled at that. Maybe she had been helped but that didn’t help ease any of the guilt I felt about lying to her. I sighed and stood from the table. “Where are you going?” Oriana asked with a mouthful of food. I picked up my bag and walked to the entrance of the kitchen. “School. It’s Wednesday and school started yesterday after the half term and I didn’t go then because you came home” I smiled at her and she frowned. “I’ll see you later don’t worry” I told her. She nodded once and I left the kitchen.
