everyone has heard of the booth world creepy pasta, right? "hi my name is Samantha from booth world industries." "you have a marvelous day." yeah haha what a believable story. at least that's what I thought before I called a few numbers I found on safari. The first number I called, I forgot to star 67. the call rang once before the person on the other end answered and said, "Hello and please listen carefully as our menu options might have changed." oh. maybe it's an old number. I star 67'd another number. the call rang once before the person on the other end answered and said, "Hello and please listen carefully as our menu options might have changed." umm okay... i dialed a different number. the call rang once before the person on the other end answered and said, "Hello and please listen carefully as our menu options might have changed." what? maybe it's just the website. I switched to a new website and dialed a new number. the call rang once before the person on the other end answered and said, "Hello and please listen carefully as our menu options might have changed." okay. what the fuck. I put my phone down and decided to watch some tv, when my phone started to ring. I picked up my phone and it was from an unknown number. I answered and the person on the other end said, "Hello and please listen carefully as our menu options might have changed." but this time it echoed, as if the woman who said it was in my house and I heard them say it. I tried to click the button to hang up but the lady on the other side of the call said, "you may not hang up." it's voice echoed again. I looked around. what the hell? "say something. I know you're there." I turned off my phone. my iPad rang. before I even picked up my device, a voice said, "Hello and please listen carefully as our menu options might have changed." what the actual fuck? is it in my house? I declined the call from my iPad and almost instantly a call popped up on my tv. how do you even call someone's tv? the call answered itself. "Hello and please listen carefully as our menu options might have changed." the call glitched out. "hello...?" I whispered. "hello...?" my own voice echoed back. not from the call, but from somewhere around the corner of the living room wall. the call ended but a squishy breathing echoed through the house. "I see you."
