she woke up, excited. today was the day of the midnight sun. she looked outside. the darkness took over the whole street. she could only see her reflection in the glass. she walked downstairs and ate breakfast. oddly, the clock beside her was off. she looked around and all of her clocks were seemingly dead. she went to her tv, but it didn't turn on. walking around, only few lights would turn on. she sighed and sat on her couch, bored. hours went by as she sat there. this was the dumbest midnight sun ever. soon after, she gave in and got up, figuring she'd go outside and talk to people for once. two clicks was all it took to unlock her front door, and it slid open easily. she took a step out and nearly fell. nothing supported her feet, or her house, and blackness all around was all she saw. "damnit" she mumbled, slamming the door. she'd simply forgotten. this happens often. she's not on earth. there is no midnight sun where she's going.. where she's headed. she has no construct of time, no life to live. she can't have a life, for what she had done was so indescribably heinous, she was banished from here. sent to the place man feared most. where all the bad things went. she was simply sent to the abyss of the great unknown.
