my eyes glanced to the clock as the bell rung, my first day was going faster than i would imagine. it was lunch time, "see you airie!" ennoshita waved bye to me as he left the classroom. we made friends pretty easily, he remembered me from the gym this morning. he was a really nice boy, and he had a really friendly smile. "ugh do you see her? thinking she's all that." i sighed packing my things up hearing the girls behind me smack their lips. "who does she think she is, coming in the middle of the year." another one snickered. i finally zipped up my school bag and made my way to the door, but before i left i turned to face the girls and waved them a goodbye with a sweet smile. the two girls yelped with embarrassed faces, kill them with kindness. something i wish to instal into kyo's small head.

as i passed down the halls i couldn't help but wonder where the music room was. my fingers were itching to play out the new song i had wrote. i walked down the stairs and turned a couple halls feeling completely lost. a sigh escaped my lips feeling ultimately defeated from getting myself lost. "noya!" a familiar loud voice had me picking up my head. the boy from class, the loud one with the shaved head. my eyes followed his eye sight and caught hold of the boy from the gym, and my class. the one with the most enchanting hazel eyes. "tanaka stop! i have no idea what you're talking about! now drop it!" the boy he called noya reddened in the face as he shook his fist at his friend, tanaka. they might know where the music room is. they were already walking my way so i took a simply step in front of them, but maybe that was a bad idea.

the hazel eyed boy wasn't paying attention to his line of sight and ended up colliding with me. it caused a large scene as both of us let out surprised shouts. i had my hands close to my mouth trying to hide the embarrassment filling up my cheeks and ears. he was on his hands and knees hovering above me, his spiky yet surprisingly soft hair caressing my neck from him looking down. "e-excuse me?" i squeaked out hearing him start to curse under his breath. his head whipped up and we froze, locked in one another's eyes. my cheeks heated up more, he was really close. "i..i-i u-uh.." he tried to speak. "cat caught your tongue there noya?" the other boy peered down sideways, wiggling his eyebrows. then in a flash the boy jumped up and his face was putting cherrys to shame. he looked away from me but still held out his hand to help me up, which i gladly took. his hands were calloused, but we're so warm. my hand oddly missing the warmth they gave off as we parted hands a few seconds later.

"sorry for my clumsy small friend here." the taller boy winked at his friend as i dusted myself off. "mm it was my fault i shouldn't have stepped in front of you two to try to get your attention." i sheepishly chuckled. the sentence seemed to make the talk boy freeze, hearts and stars circling in his eyes. "you wanted my attention?!?" his face grew in size cheerfully. "noya did you hear that!!!" he started to swat his friends arm forcefully. the other boy he called noya was staring at his hand, his eyes filled with something i couldn't place my finger on. "noya~" the other male grinned closer to the smaller ones face. he snapped out of the trance he was in, his body jumping a little. "ha-ah sorry for falling on top of you there! you're kind of short so i couldn't see you!" his cheeks flushed as he rubbed the back of his neck smiling.

"she's practically your height." the other raised a brow, causing him to glare at his friend. i just shook my head softly, "it's okay, but can i ask you two a question?" i spoke kindly looking behind them to see people heading back to their classrooms. "shoot!" the smaller one grinned. "could you tell me where the music room is?" i clutched my school bag slightly. "oh! uh other side of the building i believe." the taller one tapped his chin. "thank you!" i bowed happily and walked passed them. "i-i'll take you there!" i looked over my shoulder and saw the boy with the hazel eyes running after me. "oi! you have class down here though!" the other shouted annoyed. but the other boy waved him off before shoving his hands into his pants pockets. "i don't want to be a burden, i can find it if you have to get to class.." i trailed my voice out. he shook his head while smiling, "call it my way of making it up to you!" he puffed his chest out.

"any anyway, i'm already not doing so great in my japanese literature class as is, so what's a tardy going to hurt?" he chuckled nervously. his face morphed into a squishy baby pout making me laugh a little, he gave me a confused look before speaking again. "don't you have class though?" he leaned forward a little as we turned a corner. "no, i have free time after lunch." i smiled as i pulled out my class schedule and handing it to him. he took it and i saw his eyes widen. "you're in all the college prep classes with the third years?!" he spoke like the soul was sucked out of him. "mhm!" i snickered proudly. "then why are you in my home room?!" he peered astonished. my eyebrow furrowed softly, "i am a second year still." his face quickly went red as he nodded.

we walked the rest of the few minutes in a comfortable silence. i could see the boy stealing glances at me and every time i would look at him he'd looked ahead. "ta-da!" he ran ahead of us and held out his hands to a room door. i felt a smile growing on my lips as we entered. "what instrument do you play?" i heard him ask but my mind was focused on the deep black grand piano in front of me.

my fingers randomly pulled on the strings to this over grown guitar. airie didn't answer me back but i let it go, not giving it much mind she probably didn't hear me. just then the sound of the piano filled the silence of the room. my eyes scanned around until they landed on her small figure, she was sitting on the stool in front of the fancy instrument. i felt a lump form in my throat making my way to stand in front of her. the lump only grew when i saw how calm her features had gotten. she was breath taking.

she started to play softly, her fingers gracefully moving along the white keys. i felt my heart start to race just from watching her play, it was like the room itself changed and we were in the middle of a grassy field. then, then she started to hum. i felt the smile grow ten times more hearing her sound so melodious. "you're incredible!" i beamed jumping in my spot. the music stopped playing and she looked up at me with a slight blush. "i'm okay, but thank you.." she stared at me with wide eyes. my eyes did the same before i quickly stood in front of her. "yuu nishinoya! but all my friends call me noya!" i said while pressing my thumb to my chest proudly. "lovely to meet you noya," she said sweetly making my heart do a bunch of odd flips. her long lashes covered her eyes while she smiled.

she really was breath taking. does she even know how pretty her hair makes her when it falls down her face like that? i had a boyish grin on my face as i sat beside her on the stool. "keep playing!" i cheered her on. she went to place her fingers back on the keys but stopped and looked at me. "shouldn't you get back to class?" her voice sounded almost like she was hiding something. but i quickly shook away that thought and jumped to my feet. "ahh! i almost forgot! i'll see you later airie!" i quickly bowed to her and ran out of the room. my feet carried me just as fast as my heart was beating, and i was bursting into my class in a few seconds.

"so sorry i'm late! i promise it won't happen again!" i bowed repeatingly before taking my seat next to tanaka. "what took you so long?" he wiggled his brow at me. "i stayed to watch airie play a little, she's amazing!" i gushed. he glanced back at me with his sly smirk, not sure what he was thinking. we both looked ahead to listen to our teacher, but my mind was stuck on the sound of a piano. man do i want to watch her play again!
