THE VOID

{later that day}

((After about 30 minutes of discussion it was decided, that Hero would stay at Jo's this way his bed was empty for Felix to take. It was originally offered to Mel but she stated she wouldn't leave Jack alone and would stay with him at the hotel he booked. Everyone was too caught up making plans to question it, they eventually decided they would all find time to meet up together to set out a plan of action. They also set a rule for regular check ins, to never be alone and if anything make you suspicious make a note of it. After everyone left, Alice, Josephine and Hero made dinner. They checked in to make sure everyone was safe and then Alice decided to head to bed. Josephine and Hero stayed in the kitchen for a while))

Josephine: "Only when you're stressed?" ((She asks trying to not pass judgement))

Hero: "Yeah" ((it's obvious she doesn't approve)) "I used to smoke regularly but gave it up" ((he adds))

Josephine: "Okay" ((is all she responds))

Hero: "Okay?" ((He asks a little annoyed at her reaction))

Josephine: "I just didn't know you smoked" ((she smiles trying to reassure him)) "I'm just surprised that's all"

Hero: "I don't anymore" ((he adds defensively))

Josephine: "Not really true though" ((she shrugs)) "Since you do it when you're stressed" ((she points out, she shakes her head realising how rude she's being and moves over to him)) "I'm sorry" ((she says standing in-between his legs)) "I can't help it, I have doctor parents"

Hero: "Okay" ((he mutters)) "It's late we should head for bed" ((he moves her back slightly to stand up))

Josephine: ((can tell he's mad)) "Just okay?" ((She asks following him to the bedroom))

Hero: "Hmm" ((he answers))

Josephine: "If you're mad, we should talk about it" ((she shrugs)) "No point going to bed like that, you know since we could be killed at any moment" ((she says dryly))

Hero: "Stop with that" ((he throws back)) "Nobody is going to kill us"

Josephine: ((sighs)) "Easy for you to say" ((she mutters under her breath))

Hero: "If you have something to add?" ((he remarks, noticing her mouth moving))

Josephine: ((wants to remind hero that unlike him she has been associated with Jack and been followed)) "It's just" ((she cuts herself off, fear taking over her))

Hero: "Well?" ((He rudely asks))

Josephine: ((takes a seat on the edge of the bed, confused by his switch)) "Nothing" ((she says))

Hero: ((takes a seat on the other side of the bed)) "It's all my fault" ((he drops his head into his hands)) "If I had just told you straight away, you wouldn't have gone to Jack's"

Josephine: ((can't deny the truth in his statement)) "Don't blame yourself" ((she takes a deep breath, she doesn't blame Hero or Alice))

Hero: "It's obvious you still hold it against me" ((he adds)) "You keep reminding me, that I've put your life in danger"

Josephine: ((falls back on the bed)) "I don't mean it like that" ((she peers up at the ceiling)) "I keep mentioning it, I guess to try to understand the trouble we're in" ((she smiles a little)) "I guess to also make light of the situation"

Hero: ((falls back joining her)) "I don't like bickering with you like this" ((he huffs)) "I don't want you to ever experience this side of me"

Josephine: ((closes her eyes)) "I want to experience every side of you"

Hero: "Trust me you don't" ((he sighs, turning his head to catch a glimpse of her))

Josephine: "I think that's for me to decide, not you" ((she opens her eyes and turns to look at Hero))

((They are both silent for a few minutes, just looking at each other))

Hero: ((laughs slightly))

Josephine: "What?"

Hero: "We bicker way too much" ((he continues laughing))

Josephine: "We don't bicker that often" ((she thinks over every conversation they've had))

Hero: "I'd rather bicker with you than having any sort of conversation with anyone else" ((he adds smiling))

Josephine: ((smiles before sighing again)) "How do you go from rude to cheesy so fast?"

Hero: "I guess I can't help being moody but I force myself to snap out of it, because you don't deserve that"

Josephine: "It didn't help that I was being super judgemental" ((she adds))

Hero: "There's a lot we don't know about each other and as we change that, there will be somethings we like and other that we don't" ((his smile grows)) "That's normal"

((Josephine agrees and they both decide to actually get in bed.  Hero spoons Josephine and lightly caresses her hair))

Josephine: "So tell me about being Tom Riddle" ((she blurts))

Hero: ((is taken aback at first)) "It was fun, my uncle was already in the franchise and he suggested I try for the part"

Josephine: "I would kill to be apart of something so cool" ((she responds))

Hero: "I'm sure you will" ((he can feel his eyes becoming heavy)) "You're a very good actress"

Josephine: "You don't know that" ((she giggles)) "That reminds me you have to come to set one day" ((she almost demands))

Hero: "I don't know" ((he mutters)) "I haven't been back in a studio in years"

Josephine: ((a frown takes over her face)) "Why did you quit?" ((She asks cautiously, a few seconds go bye and Hero hasn't responded. She can hear faint snores coming from him))

Hero: ((not ready to answer her questions, pretends to be sleeping))

Josephine: ((doesn't want to upset he's fallen asleep, especially since they were suppose to have meaningful conversation tonight. She fears he may never want to open up to her))

((It's not long before Hero is actually asleep, he unconsciously rolls away from Josephine. She is unable to shut her mind off and she bounces from one subject to another. She ends up at the situation they have all found themselves in. She goes over everything she's heard and witnessed the past couple of days. Something feels off to her, she nudges the feeling Jack is hiding something. They were vague regarding the mole, and panicked dismissing any questions about him. They knew his address but not his name, that doesn't seem right to her. She abandons the thought, wanting to give her friends the benefit of the doubt. She turns to face Hero, his back to her. She moves closer and wraps her arms around him. He instinctively slides himself towards her, his ass leading the way. He grabs her arms and pulls it tighter around him))

short and idk boring but it's something i guess
this chapter is probs riddled with mistakes but whatever. (:
