                                   {The Next Morning}

((Josephine snores lightly, while her head rests on Hero's chest. Hero has been a wake for a few minutes, he couldn't help but stay up and watch her. Not just because she looks so beautiful but because he is beyond worried about these dreams. The dreams that haunt her, the dreams that Alice is keeping a secret. She said she promised Jo, that she would never talk about them with anyone. He wonders if he should ask her about them as soon as she wakes, or if he should wait for her to open up. She knows everything about him, in fact she made it clear that they should know everything about each other. He feels a little hurt, that it feels like it was just one sided. He revealed his entire soul to her and here she is keeping a huge secret about her past. He tries to let that anger fade, and tries to understand that maybe she just wasn't ready. She will be though, once she realises these dreams aren't going away, she'll tell him. They will work through them together, he will be there for her, the way she's always there for him))

Josephine: ((feels her eyes slowly begin to open, as they do she feels something she hasn't felt in a while. Safe)) "Morning" ((she whispers before planting a small kiss on hero's chest))

Hero: ((runs his hand through her hair)) "Morning gorgeous" ((he says back, relaxing as she continues to place small kisses on his chest and they stay like that for a few minutes))

Josephine: "Can we be like this forever?" ((she asks as the sun peers through the window))

Hero: "I think a part of us will" ((he responds smiling)) "But for now, I'm hungry" ((he adds as she detaches from him))

Josephine: "I'll get you something, what do you fancy?" ((She asks as she turns back to look at him))

Hero: ((uses a second to take her in, the way she just looks so naturally pretty. The sun is bouncing off her skin, the sleeve of his top sliding off her shoulder. The way her smile takes over her whole face and sends out this beam of light that just consumes his heart with love)) "You" ((he jokes as he grabs her and pulls her back down to the bed))

Josephine: "Hero" ((she laugh as she holds her and begins to tickle her)) "Stop it" ((she shouts but it's followed with more laughter))

Hero: ((is savouring every moment with her)) "You and I, here forever" ((he whispers trying to lock this moment in his memory))

Josephine: ((manages to pull away and stands up, taking in his ever so innocent grin)) "You're my favourite" ((she randomly adds before beginning to walk around the bed))

Hero: ((falls back and watches the way she strides away, his top just about reaching below her sweet, sweet bum. He bites his lip to push away the thoughts he's having)) "You're favourite, what?" ((He asks as she reaches the door))

Josephine: ((turns her head back)) "Everything" ((she says softly)) "You're my favourite, everything" ((she adds, before turning away and walking faster. Realising how little sense that just made))

Hero: ((keeps his eyes on her until she's gone)) "You're my favourite too" ((he says to himself before rubbing his eyes))

((Hero finally manages to pull himself out of bed, and makes his way to the bathroom. Stopping in front of the sink he looks in the mirror, the cuts on his face are almost gone. As he analyses them, he tries to remember more of that day. He rubs his finger over a cut on his eyebrow, the hairs on his arms rise. He freezes the room around him going dark, he struggles to breathe and he hears Josephine's voice. It sounds so unlike her, it cuts through the air. Her voice is getting closer and he can hear the pain radiating from it. Before he can stop himself, he blinks and the room is back to normal again. He chokes on the air, he can feel sweat sliding down his neck. He becomes frustrated, he doesn't remember anything else, just this feeling like he was suffocating. He snaps out of it and washes his face, he then brushes his teeth. Before making his way back out into the bedroom))
