Chris walked to the ring with a cocky smirk accompanied by the other members of the Upper Power. Chris rolled into the ring before holding his arms in the air as he received a mixed reaction. Chris leaned against the ropes keeping his jacket on.
Alexander: His opponent, the champion, from Charlotte, North Carolina, weighing in at 181lbs... AJJJJJJJJ WEST!
AJ had a mad look on his face as he stormed down to the ring.
Makayla: AJ West and Chris Jericho have been at each other's throats for weeks now, starting back when Jericho attacked West after the main event at Apocalypse.
Casey: And this is only fueled by animosity that West has had with Vernon for years before EWI was even a thing! And the whole time, West was right.
AJ got into the ring and held up his title in the air, smirking widely. AJ looked back at Jericho, looking as pissed as ever. The ref was given the belt from West and the two got in their corners before the bell rang and AJ quickly burst out of the corner, doing a spinning backhand before performing Luck Going West.

Makayla: LUCK GOING WEST!
Casey: West might end this in seconds!
AJ quickly pinned Jericho who kicked out at 2.
Makayla: Thank God.
AJ quickly got Jericho back up and started striking him multiple times with his knees and palms, backing him into the corner. AJ ran off the ropes and hit Jericho with a Jumping Knee. AJ ran off the ropes again and performed another Knee. AJ ran off the ropes once again before Jericho countered with a Forearm, sending AJ back down.
Makayla: Went to the well too much.
Jericho ran out of the corner and attempted a Lionsault but West gets his knees up. Jericho leaned back and West swooped in and took him down into a grapevined Ankle Lock.
