Makayla: We just witnessed the return of Taya Skye, who attempted to cash in on the current champion, but Triple R had other plans.
Casey: I think R has to watch out closely for Taya, she could be lurking anywhere, with a guaranteed title match whenever she wants.
Makayla: Coming up next, we have another title match, Shinsuke Nakamura will defend the EWI Infinity Championship against Chase Destiny in a ladder match!
Alexander: The following contest is a ladder match and it is for the EWI Infinity Championship! Making his way to the ring, from Los Angeles, California, weighing in at 213lbs, The Limit-Breaker Chaseeeee DESTINY!
Chase was on his way to the ring when Shinsuke ran at him from behind and hit him in the back with a guitar.
Makayla: There's the champion!
Casey: Attacking Destiny from behind with a guitar!
Shinsuke got Chase up and threw him into the barricade, before getting him back up and throwing him into a pile of ladders. The bell rang and Shinsuke quickly got a ladder up and threw it into the ring. Shinsuke got into the ring and quickly set up the ladder. Shinsuke went to climb the ladder, to retain his title but Chase quickly got into the ring and pulled Nakamura off.
Casey: Destiny quickly prevented Shinsuke from getting an easy win!
Chase tried to throw Shinsuke into the ladder but Shinsuke back kicked Chase before giving Chase a stiff roundhouse kick. Chase rolled into the corner and Shinsuke quickly tried to set up the ladder but Chase trips his legs. Chase got up and tried to climb the ladder but Shinsuke tripped his legs and threw him out of the ring.
Makayla: Both quickly tried to climb up, both failed!
Shinsuke rolled out of the ring and propped Chase up against the barricade before giving him multiple stiff kicks to the chest. Shinsuke taunted before running back to Chase, who stopped him with an incoming chair to the face he got from the behind the barricade.
Casey: What a reversal!
Chase got out from the barricade before taking the chair and started to attack Shinsuke's back with the chair. Shinsuke tried to crawl away as Chase attacked him with the chair.
Makayla: Chaos is already brewing, Chase can finally take out his frustrations on the Infinity Champion!
Shinsuke finally gets back up and kicks the chair out of Chase's hands before performing an enzigiri. Chase went to a knee and Shinsuke tried to get back into the ring but Chase grabbed his leg and tried to superkick Nakamura, but Nakamura kicked his leg before sliding under and running to get a ladder on the outside.
Casey: Shinsuke is in such a hurry here.
Shinsuke grabbed the ladder and hit Chase with it in the ribs, before hitting his back. Shinsuke threw the ladder into the ring and hooked Chase for a Back Suplex into the barricade but Chase lands on his feet in the empty seats before tightrope walking the barricade and performed a diving missile dropkick on Shinsuke.
Makayla: Some unique offense by the very talented Chase Destiny!
Chase wasn't the showboat he usually was, instead tonight, he was out to prove a point. Chase got into the ring and placed the medium sized ladder under the title and started the climb.
