The pyro went off as the crowd screamed with excitement and the camera panned around the arena.
Makayla: The time has come! Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Reflection!
Casey: The women will show us what they can do tonight and we'll sit back and enjoy every damn second!
In the ring doing the ring announcing for the night was NHL hockey panelist, Ellie Barnes.
Ellie: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, the always great COO of EWI, Melodyyyyyyy BURNS!
Melody walked out to the ring, mocking Vince McMahon's power walk out to the ring. Melody had a dorky smile on her face as she was cheered loudly by the crowd. Melody rolled into the ring, and smiled widely at the crowd, having a completely different mood from 2 days ago on FLASHPOINT. Melody got a mic and didn't talk at first, just soaking in all the cheers and support. She went to talk but the crowd cheered louder.
Melody: Well, if you guys cheer this loudly, my job tonight might be rather easy.
The crowd laughed and kept cheering as Melody kept smiling.
Melody: Well seriously, I am so glad to be here. The last few days have been hard on me, because I was questioning whether I belong in a great company like EWI but..here we are.
The crowd got louder and Melody was as happy as ever.
Melody: You guys are the literal best. Anyway, what was I out here for?
Melody thought to herself for a second before looking back at the covered stand that was already in the ring and remembered.
Melody: Right, I'm supposed to be talking about that. Anyways, I said I had an announcement and let's announce it.
Melody walked over and took the cover off, revealing a championship.
Melody: What is this beauty? Why, it's the EWI Women's Intercontinental Championship! And it will be defended in the best of competition, with the best of talent. Tonight on Reflection, Mercedes Elizabeth, Sonya DEVil, Rose Stylark and Shayna Baszler will be in a Fatal-4 Way for the EWI Women's Intercontinental Championship!
The crowd cheered louder and Melody smiled as her took the title podium and handed it to a security guard on the outside. Melody outstretched her arms as she exited the ring and sat down at the commentators desk, putting on a headset.
Makayla: Bosswoman is gonna join us?
Melody: Yep, I'm gonna use my crappy commentating skills to lighten up the show.
Casey: The first match is next with Michelle Katerina taking on breakout talent Alice Awesome.
Makayla: At first, the feud was based on respect but respect is for chumps, when Awesome laid out Katerina with her signature heel kick, and the feud only advanced from there.
