I try and piece together
the way the wind and fire bend,
but I can't help but to think
about all the matches used
becoming completely useless.

The fear of your body pressed against mine
in a heated fight for control and dominance
causes my heart to race a couple seconds faster.

Your lips shine against the light of a bonfire
and I hold my breath deep in my chest,
craving for you to give me one last kiss.

Knowing you,
and knowing what you want,
I realize my mistake.

The kiss we once shared was only a
one time thing,
something classified as unspecial.

However unspecial my kiss might have been,
I can't help but crave your body against mine
one last time in a heated fight of longing lust.

The way your simple lies hold truths
scares me in a way I can't comprehend.

You make me feel unnecessary,
but necessary,
all at the same time.

(This one isn't a poem lol just me being angry)

one word,
two vowels,
three different meanings:
hickey.

We kissed,
I overreacted,
You had sex with someone else.
