"randle?" Soda asked, clearly confused.
I knitted my brows together. "yeah, thats what I said, is there a prob-"
"no no no, its just..." Soda continued.
I turned my focous towards him. "huh?"
"y'know that crackhead in the DX? the one with the cake or whatever in his hand?" Soda said.
"um-OH! YES I DO!" I smiled happily for remembering the crazy teen in the back of the store balancing screws over a Coke-a-Cola bottle.
"thats Steve." Soda said.
I raised my eyebrows, then frowned.
"oh no, thats my cousin? I havent seen him in years... " I trailed off.
"Is he as bad as he seems?" I ask Soda.
"no, no you'll learn to like him" soda said chuckling.
I tightened my grasp around sodas hand. "Is he, um, your brother or rela-"
Soda started giggling.
"no, hes not"
I sighed in releif. "oh good."
I felt sodas hand slowly fall away from mine as we stopped in front of a house. I forgot we were walking, or what I was doing, I just fell into his dreamy abyss.
I felt the sun shine over my face and I squinted as I looked up at Soda. The sun radiated his tan face-and his face- gave me the chills, over the warm breeze that flew through my hair.
I met his eyes staring at my glaucous ones, and I felt my heart speed up.
He came closer to me, and I started to get scared, I felt threatned. I watched slowly as his suntanned arm reached out. His hand reached out towards my cheek, but his fingers could only brush against my reddened cheeks as the front door swung open.
"SODA!!" the blonde boy shouted.
"get your*hic*raggidy lil kiss up ass o'er here we are having dinner*hic* and dont you be buggin that sweet little lady!" the boy shouted, then he erupted in laughs.
Soda laughed nervously and scrathed the back of his neck. "Im sorry 'bout that, i promise, he's usually not like that" 'thats a lie' I heard him mumbled. "golly he's the weirdest kid i know" Soda said.
I giggled and tucked a peice of hair behind my ear. Soda motoined me forward but I hesitated to go in. "um-im a little scared.."
Soda grabbed my hand again. "dont worry, they dont bite" he whispered oh-so closley to my ear, i felt goosebumps rise up my arms.
"well, maybe two-bit does bu-"
"soda!" I shouted as I smacked his arm.
He laughed and I laughed back.
"al-alright" I said, reassured by Sodas confidence.
I felt soda stroke my thumb as we walked into the house.I looked around the small family room, noticing a lot of boys. I saw a very attractive, tall boy walk up to me, and I felt my heart race.
"hey soda, whos this pretty braod you picked up?" the boy asked.
"she aint a broad dal." Soda said rather sternly.
"ay alright then, I didnt know that you had a problem with me hittin on this soc" Dallas smirked before giving me a wink. He pulled out a cancer stick and took a long drag.
I couldnt help but roll my eyes at his stupidity.
"hey dal you know not to smoke in here" a strong voice said.
