It was Saturday.
I was getting married.
The wedding would be held in St. Peter's Cathedral with a pastor and everything. The theme was yellow and red.
To my knowledge, only Dad was gonna be there to give me away. Leela, Renae and Hailey were to be my bridesmaids with Hailey being my maid of honor. Leo's friends were gonna be his groomsmen. All of Leo's associates were gonna be there, along with associates of Hale Corporation. Leo's family would be there too.
I felt kinda sad.
Had James been alive, he'd be so hyped. He'd be giving Leo ideas to piss me off. Kate and Mom didn't even know I would be getting married and my grandparents actually hate me.
Great.

At last, the time came.
It was almost time for the ceremony to begin.
I was so nervous, even though I looked absolutely amazing.
When Lexi brought the dress to me, I screamed. It was so beautiful. The hairdresser worked with my natural hair and my bouquet was also gorgeous.
It's yellow, after all.
My bridesmaids also looked exceptional with their yellow dresses.
The groomsmen were to be wearing red.
My dad hooked arms with me.
"You ready princess?" he asked.
If you had told me in the past that my dad would be giving me away I'd laugh at you for two reasons:
1. I didn't think of him as my father.
2. I'd be getting married.
I smiled.
"As ready as I'll ever be," I said.

The wedding march played as we made our way down the aisle.
The girls walked in front, followed by Dad and I.
When I got to the front, Leo was just staring at me, tears in his eyes. He wiped them away quickly and held my hands.
"You look beautiful," he said, his voice full of emotions.
I giggled and assessed his outfit. He was wearing a cool black suit with a red tie.
"You look like a Hitman."
He smiled.
"At least you get the reference, Hailey was looking at me like I was crazy," he said.
I laughed.
I turned to the front and what I saw shocked me.
The Richleys were there, along with Julianne.
That day I left, I asked someone to find her and send her home to her parents. She has been recovering ever since. I needed to let her know that I forgave her. I'll do so during the reception.
Mom.
She was there.
Kate too.
They were smiling at me.
Kate looked much better than she'd ever been. She put on weight and held a cute little girl in her arms. In Mom's arms was a photo.
James' photo.
He was in his most artistic pose as he played the violin, a solemn smile on his face.
I nearly cried.
It reminded me why I was doing this.
For James.
But then I looked at the family I'd soon be joining and the man I'd be marrying.
It made me realize that I had another reason.
I was genuinely happy with them.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to join these two in holy matrimony. Leonardo Icarus Costas and Octavia Anemone Hale."
We snickered at the same time.
"Anemone? What kind of weird name is that?" asked Leo, laughing.
"At least my name isn't Icarus," I countered, sticking my tongue out at him.
The pastor cleared his throat and continued.
The ceremony continued as smoothly as two crackheads would allow it, with us laughing at the exchanging of rings and Leo jeering me as I recited the vows.
"And now," said the pastor, obviously sick of the both of us, "I now pronounce you Mr and Mrs Costas. You may kiss the bride."
Leo took the veil off.
No not like a normal person.
He threw it on the ground.
"Idiot, why would you-"
I didn't get to finish as his lips met mine in a short but passionate kiss.
When we pulled away, everyone rose and clapped.
O. Hale no more, O. Costas now.
I think I was gonna enjoy being married to this idiot.

Ah, work is almost over.
I got my last update for the day out.
The book is almost over.
If you count twenty or so more chapters almost over.
Imagine in the starting y'all would've never imagined Octavia marrying.
Octavia Costas now.
Fancy that.
