After the reception, Leo and I were on our way home.

Yes, home.

Leo lived by himself, occasionally visiting his family home.

Besides, it was the only way we could plot revenge without having to deal with the liability of eavesdroppers.

We were gonna be there for our "honeymoon".

A month long honeymoon.

Fancy that.

I still have classes to attend but Leo said he'll be personally dropping me to my classes and picking me up.

Did I mention that as soon as we signed the marriage certificate Leo became weird?

He started showing keen interest in getting to know me, bombarding me with endless questions in the car.

"Do you have any allergies?" he asked.

"Peanuts," I said, looking at my hands, "do you have any?"

"Nah, I can eat anything."

I rolled my eyes.

"Impossible."

"I eat ass too you know."

That got me.

I choked on air, gasping for breath.

And do you know what my fucking husband did as I gasped for air?

He laughed.

He fucking laughed. He started hitting the car seat just wheezing with laughter.

And all I could do was cross my arms and shoot him a long hard glare.

When he finally recovered from his laugh, I spoke.

"You done now?" I asked.

He nodded, wiping the tears from his eyes.

"Drama queen," I muttered.

He kissed me on the cheek.

"Grumpy king."

I rolled my eyes while he simply smiled.

"So, what are we doing tonight?" I asked.

He smirked.

"We getting nasty."

I slapped his arm.

"I'm not down with that. Furthermore, we'll sleep in separate rooms since your mouth lacks behaviour."

His eyes darkened.

"You wouldn't have me any other way Mrs. Costas," he said, chuckling.

I sucked in a deep breath.

The tone those words were spoken in held so much promise.

It brought back memories of our make up session and I blushed.

But then I remembered Lexi's words to me.

"Get to know the man you'll be married to before you consummate. Don't rush it."

Mom said the same thing to me at the reception.

"Octavia, I know the kind of person you are. I know you're not marrying for love but listen here. Whatever you do, I'll be supporting you on the sidelines. Just promise me that you get to know this boy before giving yourself to him."

I intended on keeping my promises.

"Come back to me."

"Huh?" I said, shaking out of my thoughts.
