Dinah's POV

It's been a week since Refael slapped me and stormed out of our home.

I kinda missed having him around.

Cause Kaila was getting me on my nerves.

I wanted to send her back to Germany, back to her crack house.

Right now she was my punching bag.

But hearing her screams and the crack of her bones did nothing to soothe the fire within me.

Even in an unconscious state, that bitch Octavia had both of my men crazy for her.

Why couldn't I win?

Landing one last kick on Kaila, I walked away.

The officers should be back with good news.

Instead of seeing those three, there was a crowd of them along with an older woman.

She had black hair, streaks of grey dancing around them. Her eyes were grey. She gave me a long hard gaze, that Father usually gives.

"Dinah," she said, shaking her head, "the last time I saw you, you were a baby. So innocent, so pure."

"Who the hell are you?" I spat.

She sighed.

"It does not matter who I am. What matters is that you're under arrest."

I laughed.

"You can't do that. You can't arrest me," I said.

"I know," she said, "that's why these kind officers will do that."

They moved to touch me and I stepped back.

"You can't do this! I am the daughter of Kane Koch."

She laughed.

"My little brother has really spoiled you so much. I ought to knock some sense into him."

I halted.

"No, Father has no siblings."

She scoffed.

"Is that what he told you? Oh, sweetie."

I thought Father and I had an understanding.

Why would he hide something so important from me?

The officers attempted to get close to me but I kept stepping back.

"Don't fucking touch me!" I screamed.

This commotion will make Father come downstairs. He's in his study.

I shouldn't disturb him.

"Isn't that what Refael has been screaming for years?" asked the woman.

I paled.

How did she know...?

"Refael told me everything. How you abused him, stripping him of his humanity for years. How you drove him and Octavia apart."

I shook my head.

No way. She's lying, he did not know anything about that.

He had no idea I was paying Kaila.

"I told him."

I turned around to see an injured Kaila, limping forward. In her hand was a gun and she had it pointed to me.
