Love. I hate it. It makes you do stupid things. Which is why I ended up where I am. Where I am right now, I shouldn't be here. I should just leave her alone.
Her is Katie. We broke up because of me. I was always out and coming home late. And no I did not cheat or go to bars. I was out because I was starting a company. She understood that but she didn't deserve someone that was barely there. It wasn't fair. I loved her more than someone could love anyone. And I just let her go.
But now that my company is running and I have a few around the world I can focus. Focus on getting her back.
I know she moved across the country. I needed to find out where to. And I couldn't just text her. She probably blocked me anyway. Luckily me and her brother Rory were still best friends after the break up. So I decided to call him.
"Hey Rory." I said once he answered the call.
"Hey y/n. Is everything ok?" "Yes I just have a question." "What is it." "Can you tell me where Katie moved to." "Y/n what're you doing." "Nothing special." "I knew you were going to say that I don't even know why I asked. Luckily I know you and I already know what you're going to do." "Great. So can you tell me." "Yes but you need to promise me something first." "Ok. What is it." "She loves you y/n. Promise you won't break her again." "Ok I promise. I'm not going to hurt her again. I didn't mean to the first time." "Also.... she's dating someone else. I don't know if it's serious or not so...." "Well never hurts to try." "Ok. I have to go now I'll text you the address." "Ok bye Rory." "Bye y/n."So I packed up everything and moved a few weeks later.
I know what I'm doing is crazy but I can't let her get away again.
When I moved I got an apartment a few blocks away from her. I don't know how I'm going to get her but I need to do it soon before her and that girl she's dating gets more serious.
From what I've seen they don't look like much of a couple. So now I have a little more faith.
Right now I was sitting in my car waiting for the girl she was dating to leave. I had to memorize their schedule. Was I stalking her? No. Maybe. I just wanted to see if she actually lived there. I just wanted to talk to her alone and now was the time. The girl finally left.
But I decided I need to back off so I left and sat down at a small cafe. I was there for a while before Katie came in. She saw me and froze up. Luckily she was by herself maybe I could use this time to talk to her.
She started walking towards me. "Y/n? What are you doing here?" She said with a little bit of sadness. "I moved here." "Really. Why?" "For you." "Why would you do that." "Because Katie I still love you and I always will. I know what I did was wrong. I thought if I broke up with you it would be better than waiting for someone that was barley home. But I never truly thought about how you would feel. And I know you're dating someone else but I had to try to get you back. I already let you go once and if I had a chance to come back and get you I wouldn't let you go again."
"So you moved across the country knowing I had a girlfriend." "Yes." "Y/n I still love you but you can't do that again. I can't go through that again it broke me." "I know Katie. And I'm going to make it up to you if you let me." "Fine." "What about your girlfriend." "I'm going to break up with her." "Ok. I have the same number so text me when you're free and I'll pick you up." I said starting to get up."Ok. I'll text you later." "I have to go now. I'll see you later though."
She didn't say anything else so I started to walk away until she called my name. She walked over to me and kissed me.
"I'll see you later." She whispered in my ear then walked away.
