You and Lena broke up. It's not like you broke up for a bad reason you both just couldn't do the distance. You didn't live in the same city as her and it was just hard so you both decided it would be best to stop seeing each other. You were usually on and off because of where you live but this time it was for good.

Your work had you in different places every couple of months and it was just hard.

When you guys broke up Lena acted like nothing happened. Her friends did start noticing a slight change in her though. She was more invested in her work than they've ever seen and they didn't even think that was possible. She didn't talk about it for about two weeks until Kara went by her office one night and saw her crying. Lena didn't tell her at first but then when she did she just cried even harder into Kara's chest. You were gone and she didn't know if you were coming back. She did love you after all.

When you came to the decision that you were going to break up with Lena you didn't know if you could do it. You love her but you didn't want her worrying about you when you had to go to places with no connection and you couldn't talk to her for months. But you had to.

Once you broke up with her you did the same thing Lena did and just put yourself in your work. You were really by yourself after that. You wanted to cry but you couldn't when you were the one that made the decision. You felt like you deserved what you felt.

Three months later you made the choice to quit your job. You should've done it a long time ago but you saved enough money up to move and that's what you did. You moved to National City.

I didn't move there because Lena lives there even though that is a factor I just found a great job there. It paid a little less then my other job but it was still great.

I work a second job on the weekends to help pay extra bills. It's just a simple barista job but it pays enough. I made sure not to work the one Lena's job is near so I didn't have to see her. I didn't want to see her yet. What if she's with someone else?

It was Saturday which means I'm working the barista job and business was going pretty slow.

I was wiping down some of the tables when one of the other people that work there told me to take over the cash register because they were going on break.

The line was a decent size so I got to work. I gave what I thought was the last person their order until Lena pops up behind him. I froze I didn't know what to do.

Just do your job y/n.

"Hello what can I get you today?" "Blueberry muffin and a regular donut" she said still staring at me. I walked away to go get it. Once I got them I put them in a bag and gave them to her. She slid me a ten dollar bill.

"You don't have to pay" I said. "I do. Here" she said trying to give me the money again.

"Hey y/n it's your break I'll finish up here" my co worker Nathan said. "Okay you want anything from the store?" "Yeah those chips you got last time." "Okay I'll be back in like ten minutes." "Alright."

He took over and I went to the break room. I took my apron and name tag off then grabbed my stuff and went out the back door.

"Wait y/n!" I heard Lena yell. "Hey Lena" I said while nervously putting my hands in my pocket. "Why are you down here?" "I quit my job and I got a good offer here so I moved here." "And you didn't tell me. And no offense I don't think a coffee job is a good offer." "No this is my second job I (whatever your dream job is) during the week." "But why didn't you tell me you were back." "I didn't think you wanted to see me." "Can we talk when you're done working?" "Yeah I'm done at five." "Okay I'll be back."

And she did come back. I finished my day and there she was standing outside.

"So what did you want to talk about" I said while starting to walk home. "Why didn't you tell me you moved here" she said while following me. "I didn't think you wanted to talk to me." "Why wouldn't I?" "I don't know we broke up." "Really we're back to this stage." "What stage?" "When you don't want to open up about anything. Can we not go back to there?" "You asked a question and I responded."

"Y/n" she said while stopping me by putting a hand on my shoulder. "What's wrong?"

The truth is I didn't know. I don't like talking about my emotions. It just isn't my thing.

"You know I'm not good with emotions." "I know and neither am I. That's why we have to tell each other what they're feeling. I'll tell you right now that I'm still in love with you. I miss you and it was hard when you left. I wanted to call you so bad." "You know I never stopped loving you. When we broke up I was by myself and I didn't know what to do. And you probably should've called I would've quit that stupid fucking job sooner. I should've quit it a long time ago. But when I did it was to late because we were done." "We don't have to be done. We can go back to how it was. Just please don't leave me again. Please say you're staying for good."

"I'm staying for good Lena I'm not leaving" I said while pulling her into a hug. "I love you" I said. "I love you too" she said before looking up and kissing me.

A/n: I just wanted to update this. I have a bunch of drafts that I need to work on but I have no time because of school. My grades are so low (Like 40's and below🙄)and on top of that my dad keeps spitting fucking bible versus at me for being gay so I'm getting annoyed and stressed out. But my winter break is coming up so I'm going to try and finish all the drafts in my thing.

But on another note, I'm so glad Ariana Grande finally decided to tell the world that we are engaged 😍 she was so nervous but I'm glad everyone is taking it well 😄. And also I'm still upset Jesy Nelson left little mix 😕. Now I'm going to try and go the fuck to sleep so I can go to school tomorrow 😒
