Your Pov:
I just got out of jail and it is great to be back. Of course I know they're watching me still but at least I get to be with my girlfriend.

I've been locked up for five years. I was talked about in the news constantly and still am. My face is everywhere on tv because people heard I got out. I don't care though. I never did. At least I look hot on there. They don't know the full story. They just make up assumptions based off of what they know. Which I don't blame them. If I saw someone killed a bunch of people I don't think I'd like them very much either. But it is what it is.

I went back to the house I used to share with my girlfriend, Lena. I stood and stared at the door.

Do I just open it or knock? It feels awkward. What to do? What to do? I'll just knock I don't want to scare her.

I knocked on the door and waited for her to answer. She's probably at work.

I went to turn away but the door opened before I fully turned around.

"I was wondering how long it was going to take you to get here" she said opening the door with a smile. "I didn't even take that long" I said before she pulled me inside and hugged me. She pecked me on my cheek before pulling back.

"What I don't get a welcome home kiss?" "No cause you're an ass." "I got here five seconds ago what did I do" I said with a pout. "You banned them from letting me see you" she said with a frown. "I don't think you want the news to know that Lena Luthor is taking visits up to jail to go see me. It was for your own good. Trust me I didn't like it either. But it was what was best. I wouldn't have done it if I didn't think it was needed." "Yeah well don't do it again." "Oh I don't plan on going back to jail."

"Stop being a smart ass and go take a shower so I can finish cooking." "You're cooking" I said shocked. "Yeah. Is there an issue with that?" "Since when do you cook?" "I had to learn since you were away. But now that you're back you should start cooking again because it's a hassle to think of something new everyday." "Hm I'll think about it" I said while starting to walk away.

I went and took a shower then came back and ate. We talked and caught up about everything that I missed.

One week later.
We needed groceries. I decided to go later at night and not during the day so I wouldn't draw attention to myself. I brought a hat with me just incase there were too many people. Luckily I could get what I needed and got out.

As soon as I open the door when I got back I heard laughing. It wasn't just Lena. There was definitely more people than just her. I brought all the groceries in quietly and put them away. I tried to be as quiet as possible so I didn't freak anyone out. I don't know how anyone would react if they saw me so I need to be careful.

I put the groceries away successfully and now I needed to get upstairs without any of them seeing me. Why didn't Lena tell me her friends were coming? I texted Lena to go to the kitchen and waited hoping none of her friends came instead.

She came into the kitchen a couple of minutes later.

"Why didn't you tell me your friends were here?" I whispered. "I forgot they were coming I'm sorry." "It's fine. I just don't know how to get to the stairs without them seeing me." "Just go. You live here too." "Yeah but incase you forgot everyone thinks I'm a murderer." Before she could respond I heard someone coming.

"Hey Lena can I get a water" some red headed girl said while walking into the kitchen. I widened my eyes at Lena and started looking around somewhere to hide.

The girl that came in noticed me and without hesitation pulled out what looked to be a taser?

"Lena do you know there's a serial killer standing in your kitchen?" She asked. After she said that everyone else that was in the house then came in the kitchen and looked at me. I went to back up slowly but got yelled at.

"Don't move" the red head yelled. "Guys she's harmless she isn't going to do anything." "What Lena! She literally killed fourteen people" some blonde girl said.

I started moving towards the door again and got yelled at again.

"I said don't move" the red head said again. "What's that? A taser? They don't work on me so you're not scaring me" I said moving to put my coat on.

I stuck my hand in my pocket and she fired the taser at me. Of course I had no reaction.

"I told you it doesn't work on me. Try a gun next time" I said while pulling the things off me. "Wh-what!? How?" "I don't really know. A lot of them have been fired at me" I shrugged.

"None of that matters. Why are you standing in Lena's kitchen" some bald guy said stepping up. He pushed Lena behind him like he was going to protect her.

I looked at Lena, well tried to, the fucking bald man was standing in my way.

"Who are you?" I asked him. "Doesn't matter." "I don't like you" I said switching the topic. "You don't know me" he responded. "I don't have to you just look fucking annoying" I glared. I saw the red head chuckle but she stopped when the blonde elbowed her in the side.

"I'm calling the cops" the bald guy said. "And you're going to say what?" "That you broke in." "I didn't break in. I walked through the fucking door. Just stop talking your voice is annoying. Someone else speak to me before I kill him." "Alright enough of this" Lena said. About time she said something. I was wondering how long she was going to stand there.

"Y/n is my girlfriend and she's not going to hurt anyone." "Huh" the bald guy and the blonde said.

"We've been dating for seven years" Lena continued. "So you were dating her while she was in jail?" The blonde asked. "Yes." "So that's why she didn't get so many years. You paid them didn't you?" The bald guy asked Lena. "Yes." "But why?" The blonde one whispered. "Because they deserved to die" I said.

"What did they even do" the red head said.

"Doesn't matter it's over with. You guys can look the court case up" I said catching an attitude. I spent so much time locked up for this situation I just want it to be done. I expected to be questioned about it but I don't want to be questioned about it in my own home.

"I think you guys should head out it's getting pretty late I'll talk to you tomorrow" Lena said.

She rushed them out of the house and I went to the bedroom. The whole situation just pissed me off.

"Y/n I'm really sorry I should've told them. And I should've told you they were here. I didn't expect them to do all of that I'm really sorry" she said genuinely upset and sincere. "It's fine Lena." "No it's not. You shouldn't have to feel this way in your own home. Y/n I've never said how thankful I was for what you did. You literally saved me. I hate that I ruined your life. I love you so much, and I ruined any chance you had at having a decent life. Im so sorry" she said starting to tear up.

"Lena my life is with you. I love you" I said pulling her on top of me to straddle my waist. "What I did was because I love you. You were in danger Lena. Don't ever feel like you ruined my life over something I chose to do. I made the choice to protect you and I'll never regret that. No matter what. I love you. You're my life. Forever." "You can't get a job because of me. You can't walk in the street in the middle of the day because of me. I ruined your life. How can you still love me?" "Lena my life is not ruined I wish you could see that. You stayed with me the whole time I was in jail even though I tried to shut you out. I mean I banned you from seeing me. Do you know how grateful I am for that? You didn't have to stay with me and I certainly didn't expect you to. And I love you so much for staying with me. What I did was an ugly side of me. I want you to know I'd never force you or want you to feel forced to be with me. If you want to leave me I'd never stop you. But I thank you for staying with me. I don't care if I can't go out during the day. I protected you and I'll never change that. I'll never stop protecting you."

"I really do love you Y/n. You sacrificed your life for me. I'm going to work to fix this for you okay? I'm going to fix it. I can't let you live like this." "I love you Lena. I don't care if you fix it or not. I'm only worried about you" I said kissing her forehead.

"And I'm telling my friends what happened to clear everything up. I should've told them in the first place" she said leaning down to properly kiss me. "Whatever you want" I said with a smile.
