"Kars!"

The large man stops, and all of you look at where the voice came from.
Caesar, Joseph and Suzi Q stood there, bravely and furiously.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

Kars doesn't say anything. You look at his fine chiseled side profile, heavily breathing.
"Get lost. Why does it concern you?"
"She's with us!"

You turn back to your dorm mates, observing how angered they were. Your heart lightened. Your parents weren't the best, and never gave the love and care any kid should deserve. You grew up not knowing what love is. 'Love' only appeared so rarely in your life. Your eyes watered. Kars glances back at you, his grip tightening.
"...I think I'll keep her."

You gasp, trying to squirm out of his grasp. From the corner of your eye, you see the Joseph and Caesar charging at Kars. Who were the two other mysterious men?
"Esidesi, Wamuu, Why don't you take care of them for me?"
"Sure."

What peculiar names. Were they from another country? You watch Joseph elbow the two men in the face, and Caesar creeping at Kars from behind. He tackles him, and you were finally free. You jump to the side, watching in horror. You notice Suzi Q wasn't here.

To your surprise, Joseph knocked the two pillar like men unconscious, leaving just Kars.
"Imbeciles!"
Kars latched onto your ankle, almost making you trip.
"Gyah!"

You try shaking him off, only to be interrupted by a male voice. It was a loud and strong one.
"Kars!"

All of you look up, noticing Suzi Q with a bold male.
"The hell are you doin' here? Get outta here!"

Who was he? Kars scoffs, brushing Caesar off and stood up tall. He narrowed his eyes, giving you a nasty look, before dragging the two men and walking out.

You let out a breath, almost collapsing.
"Are you good?"

You look up, noticing the man Suzi brought over walked up to you, catching you from falling. He had a short flat top splaying haircut. You let out a weak smile, letting the tears flow down your cheek.
"Confused.."
"Sorry about that. That was Kars. He's one of the most popular guys on campus."
"Acting like that? No way."
"Somehow. But in all honesty, I'd say I'm a bit more handsome!"

You look at the male, chuckling softly as he could tell he was cheering you up.
"My names Stroheim. Rudol Von Stroheim!"
"It's Y/N L/N."

He smiles broadly, leading you to the couch, with the other three trailing behind. He nods, leaving just you, Joseph, Caesar and Suzi Q.

Caesar immediately drops in front of you, with worry plastered all over his face. Suzi Q sits next to you, rubbing your hand softly with her thumb.
"Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"
"I hope you aren't!"

You stay silent, showing your neck.
"Mamma Mia!"

You slowly looked up to Joseph, who was gritting his teeth.
"Bastard."

Sighing softly, you droop your head low. What could Joseph do anyway? They were gone, and probably wouldn't come near you ever again.
"Il mio amore, don't look so down. Let's go back to our dorm, okay?"

You nod softly, getting up from the couch. Your head still hung low, staring at Suzi's feet, letting her guide the way. You feel a hand entwine with yours. Looking up, you see Joseph. He smiled gingerly, tightening his grip.
You felt safe, and it felt good.
