Realization.

Silently scrolling through your phone, you were subtly startled by Suzi's presence next to you on the couch.

"Hey!"
"Hm- Oh. Hi."
"I've been trapped in my room the entire time, just had to get out."

You let out an airy chuckle, looking back at your phone. Nothing really special was going on, what else was there to do with your time?

"Y/N."
"Huh?"
"Do you like Joseph?"

You freeze, not bothering to look up at the female. Did you? You weren't so sure yourself, actually.

"You can tell me, you know."
"Uh-"
"It's pretty obvious at this point."

You needed to keep your promise. Don't fall for any more men. Even if you liked Joseph, you had to get rid of your feelings. She has the wrong idea, you thought.

"No."
"What? C'mon!"
"I don't."

Suzi Q sighs, crossing her legs.
"I'm not dumb."
"Sure you aren't, you're just too stubborn."
"Hey!"

You giggle. The two men were in their classes, giving you and Suzi the dorm to yourselves.

"I know you like him. Stop denying."

She insists, gripping the side of the couch. You look at her. It wouldn't hurt to talk to someone about your actual feelings, right?

"Actually.. I- Um. I'm not sure."
"Oh?"

A small smirk appears on her face, relaxing.

"That's all you had to say."
"Okay."

She skips back into her room. You eyed her suspiciously. Hopefully she wouldn't do anything with that information. Walking into your room as well, you plopped onto your bed. You held your pillow- or well, Joseph's pillow at this point- close to you. Did you really like him? Or did you two just have a close bond. What would you do if you liked him?

The thoughts overwhelmed you, causing you to bury your head into the pillow, letting out another loud sigh. Too tired for anything, you slowly drifted off to sleep.

Fluttering your eyes open, you saw a large figure next to you. Joseph laid there, eyes on his phone.
"Oh. You're awake."

Groaning softly, you rubbed your eyes. You hear Caesar's voice come from outside.
"Dinner!"

Joseph smiles softly at you.
"Just in time."
"Oh."
"C'mon, get up."

Joseph gets up quickly. Before you could act, he picks you up, so you were hanging over his shoulder. You could only see his back.
"Hey!"

He chuckles loudly, walking outside. Finally, he places you down.
"What was that?"
Caesar laughs, placing plates on the counter.
"Our Y/N just woke up."

You sigh, smiling as you grabbed your plate of food. You wish you had noticed it sooner, but why was Joseph so nice to you? His reason was obviously not enough, and you dreaded to know more to his actions.

Finally finishing your plate, Caesar smiles.
"We bought ice cream."
"Wow! For the first time!"

The blonde gets up, probably off to grab bowls of ice cream. Not long after, he places three bowls down. You were the one without a bowl.
"Heh."
"Huh?-"
"Ah!"

Joseph smiles broadly, holding a spoon out to you. You blushed furiously, trying to take his spoon from him.
"No!"
"Jojo!"
"Just do it! It would make me a happy man."
"Ugh!"

Reluctantly, you allowed the male to feed you. He smiles, his eyes disappearing as he smiled. Blushing even more, you looked away, so you wouldn't blush any more.

Wait.

Joseph's smile made you blush?

Like, that little happy feeling?
