I should have believed you.

You and Caesar's bond had grown closer, but the only thing that was bugging you was the way he acted around women.
"Hey, Suzi."
He'd give the female a wink.

"Don't you have a girlfriend?"

You silently watched from the kitchen, continuing to drink your cup of water. It irked you, but you were a patient female. Turning his attention back to you, he smiles half heartedly.
"How about we go to a cafe or something?"
"..Sure."

Giving you a kiss from across the counter, Caesar heads back to his room. Joseph had finally returned to normal, which gave you a big wave of relief.

"I'm gonna head out! See ya!"

The brunette gave you a large grin. You had to admit. It was a bit awkward knowing that Joseph was just fuming a few days ago. You smile, waving goodbye to him. You went into your room, to get ready for your date. Putting on a black tucked in button up with black jeans and sneakers, you walked out, being greeted with Caesar incredibly close to Suzi Q.
"Hey Caesar.. You should probably scoot ten feet away from me."

Agitated at the slightest, your stern voice boomed through the air.
"Caesar."

Jerking his head up, he gives you a half smile.
"Ah. Right. Let's go."

Wrapping a large arm around your shoulder, the two of you headed out.

You weren't surprised when the eyes of many females laid upon you two. Of course, Caesar winked at each and every one of them. You scoffed softly, trying not to pay too much attention to it. What was wrong with Caesar? Was he loosing interest?

Sitting down at a table, a waitress immediately walks up to you two.
"Hello, what can I get you two today?"
"Ah, just one Panna Cotta, please."
She smiles, turning to you.
"A parfait, thank you."
"Right! I will be back with your orders!"

As soon as the waiter leaves, Caesar doesn't even bother to pay attention to you. Almost immediately pulling out his phone, you notice him smirking, his face full of lust.
"..What are you looking at?"
"Nothing."

Not even looking up, the blonde continues smiling, and began to type something. Joseph wasn't wrong. Maybe he was playing with your heart. But I should have trust in my significant other, you thought. What am I stressing out about?

You sigh, fumbling with your hands. From the corner of your eye, you notice Caesar look up at you, but then only went straight back to texting whoever the hell.
"Here is the parfait and Panna Cotta."
"Thanks, cutie."

The waitress only smiles. She seemed completely emotionless, like a robot.
"Thank you, ma'am."
"My pleasure!"

Eating your desserts in silence, you began to wonder.  Why did Caesar even bother asking you out in the first place if he had no intention of paying any attention to you after the first few weeks? Were you that boring? Finishing up your food, Caesar looks up at you, with the slightest glint of boredom.
"Do you mind paying half?"

Shouldn't he be paying all of it? He was the one who offered to go in the first place. Too nice to say no, you only stutter.
"A-ah. Sure."

The same waitress from before walks up to your table.
"Ready to pay?"
"Yes ma'am!"

You pull out your wallet, paying your half of the price. The two of you exit, not even bothering to make any sort of skin to skin connection with Caesar. That was enough for today.

"We're home.."
"Hello! How was your daaaate?"
"It was.. Fine."

You mumble reluctantly, sitting down on the couch.
"Y/N."

Caesar calls from the entrance of the dorm room.
"I have to be somewhere. I'll be back before midnight, okay?"
"Yeah."

Without a goodbye, the male leaves. Letting out a heavy sigh, Suzi Q took notice of your unusual behavior.
"Y/N.. Are you okay?"
"I'm fine."
"No you're not. You can tell me anything."

Hesitant, you finally get the thoughts off your chest.
"What if Caesar lost interest in me? He's rather.. Distant. He flirts with all the girls he encounters too."
"Oh, Y/N.."

Ruffling your hair, you let out another sigh, turning to look at the large window. Your dorm was placed right on the fifth floor. There through the window was large buildings, street lights glowing brightly through the night sky.
"I'm sure he loves you."
"Hah, I don't think so. Is Joseph not home yet?"
"He is. He's in the room."

Standing up, you thank Suzi with a subtle nod, heading into the room. Joseph laid on his bed, his face buried in his pillow.

"You know Joseph.. Maybe you were right about Caesar. I should have believed you."
