Why him?

"Y/N, me and Joseph are going to head out for groceries real quick, Caesar will stay with you, okay?"

Suzi says reassuringly as she grips onto the door handle. Caesar sits you down on the couch. You nod, waving goodbye to the two.
"Love, are you okay?"

You sniffle, looking at him as he fiddles with your fingers.
"I'm here, please don't cry."

You don't say anything. Caesar delicately lifts your chin up, wiping your tear stained cheek. The two of you stay like that for a while, silent enough to hear a pin drop. It was a bit awkward, sure, but it was still comforting in a way.
"Y/N.. I.."

He pulls your face closer, admiring your perfect face. He smiles softly, using his empty hand to hold on to your back. You remain silent, staring into those pretty green eyes in curiosity.
"Do I have to explain?"

Caesar pulls you into a tender kiss. Your eyes widen, shocked from the sudden move. The kiss was heaven, as if it was anything, everything you could ask for. His hand slowly moves down to your thigh, gripping onto it tightly.

You give in, your arms snaking around his neck. Oh, how delightful it was. You wanted the kiss to last forever. Caesar pulls away from the kiss, staring deep into your eyes.
"I love you."

Your emotions outbursts, however, you managed to keep it in your head. You sit still, only staring back at him like a statue. Breaking into a smile, you mumble under your breath.
"I guess I do too."
"Hmm? What was that?"
"I.. I love you too."

He chuckles, burying his head into your neck, placing kisses on top of the hickeys that Kars had left.
"You wouldn't mind if I claimed you as mine, wouldn't you?"

You hesitate.
"Not at all."

It was almost as if you could hear Caesar's heart pounding, as he gripped onto your shirt, chuckling.
"Now I get to do a bunch of cheesy things with you."

He looks up at you seductively, placing another tender kiss on your already plump lips. You smile in the kiss, pulling him closer.
"I want you to be mine forever, amore. Nobody else's. No matter what you do I'd still want you for my own."

His face slowly moves down to your chest, still placing soft little kisses everywhere he could. You only let out an airy giggle, playing with his hair.

"Were home- Oh my goodness!"
Suzi squeals, fangirling at the sight. You were cradled in Caesar's arms. You smile.
"Don't tell me."
"Yup!"
"Aww!"

Suzi drops the bags, letting out peculiar noises that you couldn't decipher. Caesar grins, hugging you tighter.

You take a glance at Joseph, who doesn't seem happy at all. What was his problem? He huffs, walking quickly and aggressively to the kitchen, and placed the bags onto the counter. He doesn't make eye contact with you or Caesar, only stomping back to your shared room.
"What's up with him?"
"I'm not sure, he was perfectly fine until he came home.."

Caesar sighs. You yawned, before leaning into the males chest.
"How about you get some rest? Today was a rough day for you."

Honestly, it felt good being pampered like this. Caesar picks you up bridal style, placing you onto your bed. You look over, noticing Joseph was already tucked into bed and was facing the other way. He usually slept in your bed, but considering you and Caesar were a thing now, it'd make sense. But what was he upset about?

"Sleep well, princess."
Caesar interrupts your thoughts, along with a smile. You smile back, and watched as he left the room quietly. You got ready for bed, plopping back into your bed. The silence was broken by a shaky voice.

"Out of all people, why him? Why Caesar?"
