I love you too!

A week had passed since Suzi left, and you had to admit. It did get a bit boring. Laying on your bed with Joseph, lazily watching a movie, you sigh.

"What's the matter?"
"I don't know. Today is just very depressing."

He doesn't say anything, but simply wraps his arm around your waist.

"Do you want to go get something to eat?"
"No."
"Makes sense."

He sighs, nuzzling his face into your body. You tensed up a bit, trying your best to ignore it. You hated, yet liked the fact that Joseph was quite affectionate with you. He randomly takes your phone out of your hands, placing it on your end table.

"Cuddle."
"What?"

You reddened, looking away from the brunette. Tensing up, you murmured,

"Why don't you go cuddle with Caesar?"
"I'm not gay."
"Yeah right."

He grips onto you tighter, keeping you in his warm embrace. It had stayed silent for a while, and you gave in. It did feel good to just relax like that. You slowly fell into a snooze, feeling Joseph's large hand caress your H/C hair.

Not long after, you woke up to Joseph's soft gaze on you.

"You're cute when you sleep, you know that?"
"..What?"

He chuckles, closing his eyes.

"The only thing I have on my mind is my crush. She's so beautiful."
"Is it Caesar?"
"No!"

You giggle, watching the male blush.

"I just want to keep her in my arms forever."
"Can you tell me who your crush is yet?"
"Hmm. Soon."

You silently riled up, now almost begging an answer from him.

"Cmon! It's been so long! Tell me!"
"Hmmm."
"Please?"

You look at him with puppy eyes, watching as he slowly reddened.

"..No."
"Jojo! Please?"

You watched as he hesitates, looking at you softly.

"Do you like me?"
"What?"

You could tell he was serious, which was quite unusual for him to do.

"Uh-"
"Just tell me the truth."
"UM. No!"

You watched as his eyes darkened. You did like him a lot, even though he was annoying as shit, he was simply comfortable to be around.

"Wait- I mean.. I do l-"
"Hm?"
"Well.. I d-don't hate you.."

You reddened, looking down. Slowly looking up, you could see a small smirk on Joseph's face.

"I d.. Um. How do I explain?"
"Do you like me back or not?"
"I do!-"

You covered you mouth, realizing what you just said. Screaming inside, you crunched up into a ball, refusing to look at him.

"I guess I'm lucky! My crush likes me back!"

You jerk up your head to look at him. Was he kidding?

"Wait. What?"
"Let's date!"

You blushed furiously, covering you entire face. You your hands being pulled away from your face.

"Date?"
".. Yes."

He grins broadly, his cheeks turning into a soft pinkish color.

"I thought it was easy to tell who I liked.."
"Welp. Guess I'm dumb."

He pouts softly, and you couldn't resist letting your hand caress his chiseled face.

"Is it too early to say this?"
"Say what?"
"Um. I love you. I'm sure I always have."

Watching as the male processed what you just said, he smiles.

"I love you too!"
