Making your way to the library, you thought about Caesar. He definitely did seem a lot more comfortable around you, talking occasionally, not too much. hugging your stack of books tighter, you sigh. You still had strong feelings for him, but he simply avoided interacting with you frequently.

"Oh no!"

You hear a loud thundering voice coming from the library. What a familiar voice, you thought. It's the library too, why is somebody screaming. pulling the door open, you were greeted with a Joseph charging right at you.

"Watch out!"
"Gah!"

The male bumps into you, knocking the two of you other, causing him to lay on top of you. You groan in slight pain but mostly disappointment and embarrassment, you flick Joseph's head harshly.

"Jojo! You fucking idiot!"

Propping himself up, not even bothering to get up, he rubs his head aggressively, pouting his face.

"Ow."
"Why were you running through the library?!"
"I-I'm late to class!"

You scoff, shaking your head. He looks at you, unconsciously staring too deep into your E/C pupils. Furrowing your eyebrows, you shut your eyes, jerking your head away and shoving your hand to his face.

"Quit looking at me and get up!"
"Oh-"

Immediately jumping up, he picks up your heavy books, holding out a hand to you.

"Haha, say, don't you think this incident seems pretty stereotypical? Like in those weird stories and then they date at the end."

Was Joseph trying to flirt with you? Flushing furiously, you dust off your pants, snatching the books out of his embrace.

"Can you stop being so weird for once? Go to your class or something!"

Joseph freezes, his head and mind seeming to go blank. He checks the watch on his hand, eyes widening even more.

"Oh my god! Gotta bounce! See you at the dorm!"

He bolts through the hallway, somehow dodging all the people in his way. You watch silently as he slowly got smaller from your view. Chuckling quietly, you walked in the library, as you intended to.

"Hello! How can I help you today?"
"Hi! I'd like to return these books."
"Sure thing."

Carefully taking your stack of books out of your hand, the librarian scans them and places them in a cart.

"You're all set. Thank you!"
"You too."

You smile at him, walking over to a desk. Pulling out your notebook, you thought about Joseph. His face seemed.. Perfect. Too high to your standards. The way he simply looks at you apart from everyone-everything else. He was an idiot, yeah, but it simply made the tension in the room disappear. Gripping your pen tighter, you halt. Burying your face in your hands, you squealed quietly.

You didn't like him. You didn't. Why were these thoughts coming in your head? The more you thought about it, the more charming Joseph seemed. You saw girls crowd him, showering him in gifts and compliments. You did not want to be one of them. Thinking about Caesar for the rest of the time, you realized that you didn't like him as much. He seemed better off as a good friend.

It was 6, and you finished studying just in time. Getting up from your chair, you stretched, yawning. You placed your notebook and pen neatly back into your bag, walking out the library.

"Thank you!"
"Come again!"

You were going to swear to yourself that you would fall for no more men.
