"Its been freaking 5 years, Ari. Galit ako sayo kasi you always seem to forget us. Or maybe avoiding us..." V said.

V has always been so open to her thoughts. Gladly, dinala nila ako sa condo ni Ron.

"Fine, Ill explain first. Ron and I are engaged."

I am really not in the mood to be happy. I am so bad.

"Im sorry, V. But congrats to both of you. Im happy for you guys, I really am." I said.

"Coffee?" Ron offered.

"Thank you."

V covered me with rolled blanket while sitting at their sofa. Ron just handed me the chocolate flavored coffee. And V is just talking to me. I actually notice na tumataba siya.

"I cant believe you, Ari. I am pregnant." She said.

"Oh my god, you guys. Congratulations."

I hugged V and she just felt happy for me.

"Im sorry I shouldnt have been here baka makakasama sa baby..." Napatayo ako kaagad.

"Ano ba... its okay." Sabi ni V at saka ako hinila pabalik sa pag-upo.

"Were getting married next month, Ari." Sabi ni Ron.

"And you are so invited." Sabi ni V.

Umopo sa tabi ko si V.

"Now that nakacatch up kana sa life namin, ikaw? Kumusta ka, Ari?" She asked.

"Maybe he cant lift his own self too, Ari." V said.

"Get some sleep, Ari." V said. And for that, I feel sleepy.

Nakatulog ako sa bahay ni V and Ron nun. I woke up mga afternoon na. That was 10pm in the evening pero grabe ang bawi ko sa tulog.

They didnt bothered waking me up for breakfast kasi they feel like I really needed the sleep so much.

My college friends.

Sana pala I gave them more time noon. I failed.

Pero here they are, lifting me up.

I feel drained again.

Matapos akong magising nun ay bumalik kaagad ako sa bahay. V and Ron cant accompany me anymore for they are working.

They are way too caring for someone like me.

Nag-iwan sila ng breakfast sa table and even made a cute note for me to drink a lot of water for I was crying even in my sleep.

"Ari? Is that you?" Mom called me as I entered the house.

She noticed na same pa rin ang suot ko since yesterday.

"I was worried about you, Ari." Mama said. I feel lost.

"Hyle called me last night." Mom said.

Its not everyday na imemention ni mama ang name ni Hyle. I dont know why. Ngayon lang ulit to.

"What was it?"

"He said he was sorry and then told me that he wishes you were okay. And i cant tell you because I cant reach you. Where were you, honey?" Mom said in a calm tone. She was holding the cup of tea. Probably? She just tired from her Job. And our hospital is run by Ate na. So our Williams.

But seriously, he called?

"Okay mom." I proceeded in walking upstairs but Mom stopped me again.

"Sweetie, if there's something you wished to talk about. I can.... listen." Mama said.

I smiled at her from afar. Thats the only response I can offer to her. I am so weak right now.

And I didnt go to duties today.
